Best breakfasts in the Adirondack Park and it’s a big park. Three types of coffee always available. The bread and sausages are homemade. A tip: One pancake may be enough; links over patties. Lunch is right up there too. It’s friendly, chatty, and a place you can sit and read the newspaper (or your phone) and watch Saranac Lake stroll by on Main Street

Fortunately we were one of the first in this morning and soon the place was full. And yet our waitress was pleasant and our orders came out quickly. The Irish scramble was very good as was the corned beef hash fried eggs. We're looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Bland food. Came for the eclipse weekend and was recommended this place by our Airbnb host as where the locals go. There was only a 10 minute wait but the coffee and food was bad and under seasoned. I asked for a hazelnut latte which they said they could do and I was served a watery gas station coffee with hazelnut syrup that was almost $7! Shocking as the specialty coffee shops next door only charge $6 for a latte. I ordered the J&J breakfast sandwich ($8) and the taters (just boiled/bKed potatoes) and both were just lacking salt and seasoning. The tomato soup ($6) was lacking salt and tasted watered down. I guess if this is the only place open in the small town it's ok but definitely lower your expectations

Wonderfully pleasant old-school cafe with lots of local color (and patrons), but with a slightly upscale menu. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Have only gone here for breakfast so can’t speak for lunch, but this place is a must try!! Never disappoints. I always go for the Hash and Eggs meal but everything on the menu looks spectacular. Servers are friendly and helpful, atmosphere is great, and the coffee is self serve so you can make it to your liking. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.

Visiting from Florida and this place was absolutely phenomenal. Great service, great food, great vibes. Loved it!

Have eaten here every now and again for a few years and the food is generally alright, nothing to brag about.. The specials are usually not exciting and that includes the dinner specials. The place looks dingy and is in need of a makeover big time. The bar is somewhat taken over by the owner with his laptop and paperwork. Apparently it’s also his office. I’ve talked with locals about the place at various bars and they said many negative things about blue moon. Pretty much it’s the only place to go for breakfast is why they do it, which is sad for Saranac Lake. The soups the last few times I’ve had them have been bland , which is sad because blue moon used to have such good soups. My advice is to go somewhere in lake placid for breakfast or lunch. Lack of competition and great location clearly save this place from bankruptcy!

Great family bistro that prepares handcrafted nutritious meals. Breakfast was very satisfying, hot and served in timely manner. All bread goods are prepared on the house. We have received excellent service and scrumptious meal. Thank you the culinary team and wonderful hostesses for their hospitality ????????

Little store front diner with good food and relatively large portions. The food was quite good. Nothing fancy here, just good food served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff.Very limited hours, but worth making time for if you will be in town. My husband had a late breakfast. I had an early lunch. Neither of us wanted anything more until dinner time.I will definitely try to get back here if I am in the area.

We visited on 2/9/24 for lunch after recommendations from several merchants in town. We weren’t disappointed, good service, food and prices. I had a burger that was very good, wife raved about her eggs Benedict.
