La Bella Ristorante Reviews
Our food was tasteless and the dining room carpet is disgustingly dirty as well as the ceiling fan.
This restaurant was such an incredible and unexpected find on the way home from the Bloomingdale Bog! I have traveled widely and the best food I have ever had was in Venice Italy: I kid you not, the food and service here brought me back to Venice and Florence.
I had the shrimp special: shrimp cooked with sautéed vegetables: onions, sliced garlic, roasted red peppers, large wands of broccoli, all cooked to perfection. The veggies still had flavor and bite, the large shrimp...read full review
I asked LaBellas if they could cater my daughter's baby shower on Saturday afternoon (although they are normally closed). The owner and his son couldn't have been more accommodating. La Bella Ristorante offers solid and decently priced food in a cozy atmosphere with an Adirondack feel. The service is attentive and friendly, creating a pleasant dining experience that feels like a wonderful family-style place. The menu features dishes such as chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, and lasagna, all made with tender ingredients and flavorful combinations. Recent reviews highlight the amazing calamari and the excellent chicken Parm, with customers raving about the fresh sea scallops and the incredible stuffed flounder. The restaurant is described as a nice little cute space, perfect for a quiet meal, and guests have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, comparing it to experiences in Venice and Florence.
Specials like shrimp cooked with sautéed vegetables and a chicken dish bathed in a cognac marinara sauce have also impressed diners. Desserts like Tira mi su and homemade lemon cake have received high praise for their rich flavors and textures. While some dishes may have minor disappointments, such as the chicken parmesan being a little greasy and hard to cut, overall, La Bella Ristorante is a great find that transforms a cold winter evening into a delightful dining experience. The rib eye has also been noted as done perfectly, with a very reasonable price for the generous portions.
