Best food in town, bar none. Professional staff interesting liquor selection (read: boutique or uncommon). Make a reservation and hope the French onion soup is on the menu that day...
I am grateful to have an option like this in Saranac Lake, however it’s been constantly disappointing. They do oyster nights in September and we were choking on the shells because they were shucked so poorly. It’s overpriced and the menu has no rotation. Service has always been great but the food gets worse every time we go.
We had a lovely meal for three. I had the shrimp, seasonal vegetables served on tagliatelle. Wonderful flavors. Other meal was salmon on a fresh garden salad. Salmon was cooked to perfection. We didn’t have any alcohol - dinner for 3 was $120.00 including tip.
