Beautiful atmosphere! Each time we’ve visited, this bar is quiet and cozy— certainly a hidden gem. Great place to sip a cocktail and play a board game or read a book. Highly recommend!

Really cool spot in a late 1920’s hotel in historic Saranac Lake, NY! The atmosphere is great and the decor brings you back nearly 100 years to the roaring twenties. A great selection of delicious drinks, would recommend the “sweet return” or the espresso martini.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. Appeals to everyone. Service was outstanding and the vibe was great. Will def go there again and recommend this place to everyone. See you there !!

Parking: Had no problems finding a spot to park. There were plenty of available spots.

Wheelchair accessibility: Automatic doors in the front for wheelchairs. Looked easy to use if your alone and hands happen to be full..

Nicole and Madison are excellent. Left my book behind on a table in the bar, and Madison tracked me down in my room and reunited me with the last two chapters. If that doesn't speak to the quality of service at this hotel, I don't know what would!

Great hotel located in the middle of Lake Saranac village. Room well appointed and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Bar and terrace is definitely worth spending time at - open mic night while I was there. Parking is free. There were also two Level 2 EV chargers on site.

Spent an evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We used Hilton honor points for this trip. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Free parking in a safe garage adjoining the building. This place has a lot of history and it is nicely displayed throughout the hotel. They have done a nice job with the renovation while still maintaining the old world charm. The rooms are small…and that is the only downfall. The bathroom door hits the toilet as you open it…the king sized bed takes up nearly the entire room. Despite the size, it seems to have everything you need. Comfortable bed and great shower. Noticed a bunch of crumbs from past guests in the corner of the room…my attention to detail. FYI…There is a separate building next door that offers updated and spacious suites. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown SLK. We love the town for its history, architecture, and abundance of nearby lakes…right in the heart of the Adirondacks. We will be back…hopefully in a larger room!

Room was very clean, modern, quite pleasant with nice street view. Quiet also. Free coffee and tea throughout the day. Downstairs hotel restaurant was convenient and service was fine but food not really memorable. Check in staff was friendly and efficient. One downside was lobby was occupied in evening by a high school prom. Music kinda loud. Did want to hang out in there as both outside and inside fireplaces and comfy furniture. Was told we could but looked in and the party was in full swing. I’m sure we would have looked odd. Probably would have given them 5 stars except for the prom . Maybe best option for staying in the town of Saranac lake

I’m a single female traveling alone and the deadbolt on my door didn’t work. Informed front desk and the sent a maintenance man up to fix it. He couldn’t fix it and said he would report it to the front desk. Front desk did not offer to move me. Not what I expected from this level of hotel. Wedding in the hotel tonight, noise is off the charts - even four flights up, closed the second floor to hotel guests, on of the nicest features of this hotel. The restaurant in the lobby closed at 9 pm on a Saturday. Pouring raining outside, not the best for walking options. Tried to call room service twice and no one picked up. Tried to ask for options at front fest and no one was there. For the premium I’m paying for this hotel , definitely not worth it. Needs basic customer service training and to provide options to guests when they close the only open restaurant/bar option to hotel guests.

Really nicely renovated hotel with large comfortable rooms. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I have ever been too. Up to date machines that functioned, a great weight area and towels and water available. The hotel has 2 bars, one on the second floor ballroom which was lovely and the other on the first floor restaurant. Lauren made a great cucumber spicy margarita. I ate at the hotel which has a limited menu but it was restaurant week so they had a sampler special. I chose cream of asparagus soup and the beef slider which was from local beef. The hotel also has a lovely gift shop. Free parking. I would stay again.
