Black Eyed Suzie's Upstate provided amazing service the day before Thanksgiving, providing Turkey and other goodies for our festivities even though I had not pre ordered and arrived early in the day their wonderful staff came to the rescue and the food itself was fantastic. Definitely go here for your holiday needs and delicious food all year round!

Very limited options as many options from the menu were not available. The woman taking orders had a slight attitude and all food was cold. At the prices they are changing, the food was absolutely tasteless.

Noms! Get the herby/mustard coated potato salad. We also tried a white bean/artichoke salad and herbed chicen salad. Everything is cold. If you order "hot" food, you'll have to heat it up yourself. Good vibes!

Use to go multiple times a week. It was a convenient location to grab ready made foods when you are tight on time or just didn't feel like cooking but wasn't in the mood for takeout or dining out. The last time I visited the location they forgot to put a crabcake that I ordered and paid for. I figured it wasn't going to be an issue to let them know the next time I came in to pick up something. The owner's tone, demeanor, and vibe shifted so quickly when I mentioned it, despite me just paying for $50 worth of food. I was so disappointed in the lack of trust I haven't been back since, nor do I plan on it. I'm writing this review hoping she treats her current and future customers with more care.

Wow! I have to say I'm shocked. I do love their gluten free chicken and their soups, but I had a horrible experience today. The sweet potatoes I ordered for my daughter were EXTREMELY hot with red pepper flakes. My potato leek soup was delicious, and the GF fried chicken was on point. However, the sesame kale salad tasted very old and soggy. I understand rubbed kale and love marinated kale salads like from Stone Soup and Mother Earth, however this was inedible today. If itnwas just one thing I would not have called, but thought I would ask for a replacement with something we can eat because we are still hungry. Cheryl came to the phone and i shard that that these two items are inedible and Cheryl replied that it was a personal preference and nothing is wrong with her food and refused to switch for something we could eat. I thought this place was a great addition to Kingston, and I was a regular for the GF chicken, however I won't be back. What Cheryl didn't know is that I critique restaurants and am in the field. I can not support a business with no customer service. I am shocked, and sad, that they would lose a customer over a mistake with over-spiced sweet potatoes and a very soggy salad. Being in the sustainbility, restaurant, and customer service field, this is very surprising that Cheryl would lose customers with something easily fixable like this. She should have said is, "I'm sorry you, please chose something else, and I am hopeful you will be back or even since we are mainly take out let me refund your card or add a credit for next time you come in.

Delicious food, nice place to visit, but TERRIBLE customer service. We eat there frequently and love the food, but there have been multiple instances where we were shocked with how bad the service was. One time that sticks out is when we got the kale salad (like we usually do) and it tasted very off. We called back and just wanted to let them know, didn't even ask for a refund. We were transfered to the owner, Sheryl, who was extremely rude and kept saying it's "personal preference" when the kale salad that we frequently get was inconsumable. We didn't even ask for compensation, this was right off the bat. We were just trying to let them know to check it, but were treated unkindly with disrespect. When we asked who we were speaking with, she rudely huffed that she'd already said it (she never did). A real shame since the food is so good. Also a little expensive, but I think the food is worth it if you know what you're getting is good.
