The tuna is delicious! You can get it as a quick grab 'n go or as a sandwich. Staff were so nice! There isn't much seating inside, but we were able to make it work for our big group!

created a wonderful birthday cake for me. The buttercream was delicious but not too sweet. The fillings of raspberry and lemon with vanilla cake were a perfect compliment. The outside decoration was elegant with tasty white buttercream flowers

I had a spiced hot chocolate. The experience was something new for me and it was totally worth it.

First time visiting the great bakery. Michelle helped us and she was fantastic. There is a wide variety of desserts, as well as lunch options. Highly recommend this beautiful bakery.

My wife and I visited a friend in Saugerties and wanted to pick up something to bring to dinner. We got a pistachio cardamom cake and some other things, and coffees. All the desserts were amazing! The cake was outstanding in particular! I wish we had a place like this where we live. It seems all homemade and the icings seemed made there rather than mass produced.

Only thing was it seemed like maybe the cashier was new and it felt hard to order the things we did. It wasn’t as many things as I’d think others might order at a bakery. And I wish they had a coffee menu because it was confusing trying to order. They advertise mochas and espresso drinks, but I asked if they’d make anything iced and that seemed confusing. So just got regular iced coffee.

We ordered Hazelnut, White and Classic Hot Chocolate which we absolutely loved it and my personal favourite was Hazelnut. We also order Pecan and Chocolate Chips cookie and Chocolate Dipped Mandel Brot and Brot was just too good. Must try if you are in town. Also the atmosphere and staff was amazing.

We recently had a wedding in the area and Hudson Valley Dessert Company was the perfect choice for our wedding cake and dessert. They provided an excellent level of service at the tasting, conducting delivery, and throughout the process. We wanted to do a unique cake and the bakers were thrilled with the opportunity to flex their creativity and skills. They worked closely with our venue to ensure the logistics of the cake would work and we completely trusted that everything would go well. Our guests were so impressed by the cake and the other desserts. We had cannolis, pecan squares, and gluten free brownies. Everything was delicious. We found that we got really great value and highly recommend them for others looking to order their wedding cake from the area.

Hudson Valley Desert Company has an incredibly talented team of professional, kind bakers.

My wife and I eloped in August, and one thing we really wanted was a heart-shaped cake for the two of us. We weren’t exactly sure what flavor we wanted, so we were open to suggestions. The first bakery we asked about making a heart-shaped cake gave us a bordering-on-rude, “No.” So even though it was a little bit out the way for us, we decided to call Hudson Valley Dessert Company because we had loved all of their pastries in the past. Keep in mind, we were making these arrangements only a few weeks out from our elopement date.

To our surprise, they invited my wife and I to a tasting for the cake, and were incredibly receptive to our idea for the shape and design. I was unable to attend the tasting, and was a little worried for my wife since this is something most couples normally enjoy together. I was so relieved when she told me that everyone who worked there was so kind to her the entire time she was there, and they made her more excited than she already was for our special day. When I went to pick up the cake the day of our elopement, they all remembered who the cake was for, and told me how much time and energy one of the bakers had given to making sure the cake was perfect.

And it was perfect! It looked beautiful, and really lived up to the vision we had for it. It was a vanilla cake with strawberry and lemon curd filling, with a cream cheese frosting. Not only did we love it the night of our wedding, but we were so sad to finally have finished it a few days later.

Uf, the icing on sugar cookie was SO hard, it was just like chewing on a mouthful of broken glass! Seriously hurt my teeth. Threw it away after one horrible bite.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast on a Saturday morning is The Hudson Valley Dessert Co. Connie and everyone at the bakery always put love into everything they make! This morning I got an egg and Asiago sandwich with avocado and homemade sausage that they make there! It was (and always is,) delicious! I got a cup of hazelnut hot chocolate to have with it!(Please forgive the half-a-sandwich photo. I was so ready to eat it, I forgot to take a photo of the whole sandwich. ?)

Kid-friendliness: The staff are so sweet and very interactive with not just my son, but all the other kids who come in as well! It really is a great place to bring the family for an amazing experience and a great treat!
