One of my favorite places to have breakfast on a Saturday morning is The Hudson Valley Dessert Co. Connie and everyone at the bakery always put love into everything they make! This morning I got an egg and Asiago sandwich with avocado and homemade sausage that they make there! It was (and always is,) delicious! I got a cup of hazelnut hot chocolate to have with it!(Please forgive the half-a-sandwich photo. I was so ready to eat it, I forgot to take a photo of the whole sandwich. ?)Kid-friendliness: The staff are so sweet and very interactive with not just my son, but all the other kids who come in as well! It really is a great place to bring the family for an amazing experience and a great treat!

Hudson Valley Dessert Co. always makes the best treats! This is a beautiful gender reveal cake that was made for us to announce our pregnancy and the baby’s gender. You can always taste the love in every bite here!

I recently visited Hudson Valley Dessert Company and have to say the service was excellent and the food is even better! The chicken pot pie is so buttery and delicious, the coffee is strong enough, and the Italian sesame cookies (just like Nonna used to make!) were a nice finish to my cozy cold day lunch.Vegetarian options: Soup/sandwich/desserts.Dietary restrictions: I picked up some gluten-free cookies for my sister and she loved them.

Me and daughter (who is on crutches) were about to walk in and she says “ no, close the door we’re closed” and makes signals at my daughter telling us to leave we we’ll never go there again?

The staff was nice. But when it came to the actual food.Ordered an egg sandwich with a bunch of extras: sausage + cheese + croissant. It took forever for the food to show up and resulted in this sad mess of a sandwich. They got everything wrong. And it wasn’t even tasty.I do not recommend this place.

This delightful, friendly bakery has the BEST linzer cookies in the area. I love their danishes too, and the grilled cheese sandwich is A+. Yum!! So glad I’m a local!

This place is a must visit if you are in the area. A traditional style bakery with ovens on the premises. The aroma alone is worth going in for. Everything is fresh daily in so much as purchased an apple turnover as it was coming from the oven to the counter. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. I don't know the last time I visited a bakery that I couldn't decide what I wanted. So we visited twice.
