The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. One dish came out too salty and the staff fixed it immediately. The place was very busy - definitely recommend making reservations.

Now I don't mind tipping but there is an expectation. The bottom line is that you are really supplementing an employee's salary. My pet peeve tho is paying credit card vendor fees. Generally it's not a lot but establishments agree to fees in order for their customers convenience. So in summary miss lucy's is not cheap but yea let's help to also pay their employee's salary and pay their fees. I hope that the 1.60 that they collected, was worth losing a customer. I will never eat there again. Enough is enough!

Every year we come upstate to Saugerties for a visit. Every year I have wanted to try Miss Lucy’s because of all the great ratings. This year we finally booked a reservation and sadly, I was very disappointed.
The pasta was terrible. The calamari way too salty. It was so loud, and we had a perfect table away from the rest. One in the party did say the salmon was good. We will not be visiting again.

Despite being crazy busy the hostess was able to get us in and seated even though the table was reserved an hour later.
The menu was mostly classic dishes, we had the chicken confit pot pie and the paperdelle pasta, both were absolutely delicious.
I wish the lights were a tad brighter, because we are old and have bad eyes.

Over all a really great experience. Highly recommend.

The only negative thing I'd say about this place is the fried chicken dish, despite being outstandingly delicious, is nowhere near a large enough portion for $22. It's small thigh, a single drumstick and a single wing. Three pieces of chicken for $22? Please up your portions, chicken isn't an expensive ingredient. All that said, the food here is amazing. 🤩 I'll be back next year.

I have mixed views on this one. The pappardelle pasta with sausage was delicious. The pasta was fresh and very well made the warm spinach salad was ok but fresh.

The bread was delicious but putting the butter in the basket leaves it at the table melted. The dessert was questionable. Blueberries, corn pistachio, currant ice cream. It was nothing like a bread pudding the corn was more like a Thanksgiving soufflé than a dessert. So giving it a three star for food, but would be willing to give it another try. Price point was reasonable

My husband had the fried Chicken, and the meat was tender and juicy but the crust was a little in the greasy side. I had the salmon. Initially. It came out well done when I had asked for medium rare, but day redid it, and it was delicious. It came with creamed spinach and sauteed mushrooms. We had the sweet corn and blueberry bread pudding tapped with Jane's cranberry swirl ice cream for dessert. It was very good! Drinks were also good.

Stellar food all the way through and wonderful cocktails too. The tin ceiling makes this place feel alive and boisterous with lots of big talk all around.

A nice restaurant for a nice dinner. The food was delicious and the drinks were good. The pasta was so creamy and tasty although it had an excessive amount of sausage in it. The cake was very delicious and not too sweet. The service was okay, the place was a little busy and waitresses seemed tired. One problem is the smell of cooking coming from the kitchen. it gets stuck to your clothes after leaving the place.

Exactly what you want from an All-American, small town, upscale cafe. Had a killer burger and a strawberry rhubarb pie with ice cream on a hot summer day. What else could you want?

Brunch. Smoked salmon Benedict - I enjoyed it very much. The kind of enjoyment where you are compelled to close your eyes to savor the flavors. : )
