We specifically requested mild spice level and low salt for all our takeout dishes. The Yellow Dal dish was so spicy that we could not eat it at all. We are used to eating spicy food but this can be anything but mild. We had to throw it away. The Amritsari Fried Fish was both spicy and extremely salty. The Butter Naans were thick and tasteless, and had no butter despite confirming that during taking our order. We asked for Papri Chaat. The bill said so, but we got Samosa Chaat! The person at the counter who took our orders seemed busy with calls. Our kitchen receipt showed all dishes to be mild and low salt. My child had a stomach upset the next morning. All in all, terrible experience. We won't be coming back.

Normally don’t do this but EVERYTIME it’s like an hour and a half wait. If you order and they save thirty minutes, come 15 minutes late AND then still wait 45 minutes. They just say the machine is acting up and do nothing about it. The food is good BUT not that good for that to be the standard. Won’t be back

Vegan Review here, I know in Woodstock everyone goes to the garden cafe if you’re vegan. But I feel like over the years their menu has become the same over ane over, and no longer exciting feeling. Tried this place for the first time and it was a wonderful experience to get really high quality and good vegan food.

Every once in a while I go here for takeout, and I regret it. The staff is completely disinterested, and the food is of low quality. This last time, my shag paneer tasted like it had turned. After I stopped eating it and left it out for 2 hours, it got really rank. That's not a good sign. We need more Indian food in this area, but sadly, Namaste is not it.

Like others, I placed an online order through the restaurant’s web page which they state is their preferred method. It was a relatively large take out order for 6 people.

After placing the order I checked the status on the website, which it said was “processing.”

When I arrived to pick it up I (and two other parties) were told that the orders weren’t received. We were offered the opportunity to place the orders at the restaurant with a one hour wait. No apologies, no explanation. Just a shrug. I explained that when a website’s ordering system doesn’t work it is best to shut it down so that no one else experiences the same problem. No response, just a blank stare.

I’ve been going to Namaste for a few years now and have always enjoyed their food. However, something recently has changed for the worse. I won’t be going back.

Awful service. Staff tried repeatedly to force us to leave because another party came in shortly after us. We had just gotten our entrees. Don’t go here.

I ordered Chicken Tikka. This is not the first time I have ordered this dish from this restaurant. I received a greasy chicken dish that looked nothing like the dish I had ordered from this restaurant or other Indian restaurants in the past. I brought the dish back with my receipt and I was told I received the dish I ordered. Just lost a customer over it.

Great fresh food, but horrible customer service they have someone who doesn’t understand English answer calls, and then he will hung up on you just because he doesn’t understand what you’re saying. They’ll need to do better.

I had heard good things about this place. I live half an hour away from the restaurant but decided to make the drive to pick up some food. I called them to place an order but the phone wasnt answered and it went to the answering machine which said that I should order food online on their website, I also got a text saying the same thing. So I did place an order online and drove there but when I got there, I was told that my order was canceled because they didn't have the items I had ordered. I didn't receive a call or text to let me know that my order was canceled. There was an email sent but I was driving and had no idea they had sent a cancelation email. The person at the counter didn't seem apologetic about it or try to do anything to help remedy the situation. Terrible service and communication, will not be going back.

The food was ok- similar to other Indian restaurants. The naan was fine like other restaurants. The only decent thing was paneer Bhurji(only veg part of menu was tried) this is all coming from some who growing up ate mostly Indian food cooked by my mom. The service was very bad, we had to call the waiter over many times. The only decently clean parts were the tables and chairs. The floor was dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. There was also many bugs flying around. We couldn’t test the ac bc it wasn’t a hot day but judging from the rest of the restaurant, it probably doesn’t work. In total don’t come here and if you do just get something from the gas station next door

The place supposed to be open for business at 4pm, but they refused to serve us food at 4:15pm. This dude was very rude about the whole thing?? I ended up trying the take out which was horrible and has nothing to do with Indian. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
