We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and everything was amazing. They diligently organized tablecloths, napkins and flowers to match our wedding colors. They helped us create a pre-set menu that worked for our 40-person group, and had our party seated and ordered in a very short amount of time. The service was great, the food was amazing, and the drinks/bar service was incredible. Could not recommend this restaurant more, especially to larger events / parties that are looking to rent out the entire dining room!

Sat down for a 6:30 reservation, placed our order quickly at 6:40, and then didn't receive salad, bread, our order, or even a water refill. Left at 7:45 and didn't look back.

Avenue steakhouse was selected for a special birthday dinner. Servers and wait staff were great but it was over an hour wait between appetizers and the entrees. Mac&Cheese and calamari were good. However when our entree's and salads came out they were some of the worst food i have ever had at this price point. The Ceaser salad was wilted and clearly had been dressed and left out for quite some time. The chicken marsala tasted like it was made from a packet and there was absolutely no Marsala wine in the sauce. Shrimp Francese was sweet and made with no butter or wine. Honestly, both dishes tasted like a frozen dinner. The bolognese pasta was edible but made with spaghetti and seemed like a kids meal. We barely ate our dinners but knowing that we would have to wait another hour we just paid and left. A very disappointing experience.

For our anniversary, we had a very good dinner. We started with lobster bisque and crab cakes, both of which were well-seasoned. Our main courses were spaghetti Bolognese and stuffed shrimp, which were good portions and well-prepared. Overall, it was a nice evening, and we'd compliment the chef.

Amazing steak! Worth the wait even on a crazy busy Friday night. Yeah, it took forever to get our food but honestly, everything was perfect. The fried calamari was crispy without being greasy or overdone. And that steak? Huge piece of meat cooked exactly right. Medium with this perfect crispy crust that still makes my mouth water thinking about it. Even the fries were spot on: crispy outside, fluffy inside, just the right amount of salt. Definitely going back next time I'm around.

Food was very good, one person did say that the salmon was the first time they have ordered salmon at a restaurant and did not like it. There was too much pepper. One person asked for no butter and was surprised how much heavy cream their meal had. My spaghetti was very good. I would come back again.

The team went above and beyond in independently coordinating decor to match our wedding theme. It looked great. We had a group of 30+ people and the staff was super friendly and attentive to all of our guests. Our guests loved all the food selections, especially the meatballs, steak, and tiramisu. The value was also great as the food selections were better than some other restaurants in the area. Thank you to the team for making our night so special. We will definitely stop by again when we visit the Saugerties area.

Sat and brought a drink and then left to sit there for 1 hour and 15 minutes without anything more than a slice of bread. When the server finally came to our table we ordered a second drink and begged for another bit of bread. Salads never came … dinner came grossly undercooked. I said well done. What a disappointment.
