I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and it was incredible. The food was so delicious (the lobster Mac is a must have!). The server was so nice and attentive and the atmosphere was fun yet quiet. Also MUST top off the meal with the chocolate mousse!!

We recently had my daughter’s bridal shower at the Avenue and it was perfect! The staff was amazing, brunch food was delicious and plentiful, and they decorated beautifully! Every meal we have ever had at the Avenue has been absolutely delicious. All of the servers and bartenders go above and beyond. If something has not been to my liking, they have always quickly fixed it. Just ask your servers with kindness, if you are not pleased with something. They have even assisted me with getting my godmother‘s wheelchair in the front door when we were struggling. And be sure to treat the host, hostesses, servers, and bartenders with kindness, respect and gratitude!

Our favorite place for dinner! The decor is beautiful and the ambience is cozy and inviting. The food is consistent and amazing, the cocktails are perfection, and the service is TOP NOTCH! Chef Jeff knows exactly what he's doing and prepares each dish with his entire heart and soul, and it shows! We cannot say enough great things about The Avenue, we absolutely love it every time! If you haven't been to the Avenue, you are missing out on some of the best cuisine in the upper Hudson Valley. The food is perfectly prepared and high-quality. It's also completely consistent. It took as FAR too long to discover this place - but we are so glad we did - it was recommended by a friend so we went for our anniversary. Go - just go - the food is NYC quality, quantity, flavor and the prices are SO reasonable! Ok, so yes - I ordered the $80.00 T Bone (and it was my anniversary, so I opted to go for it) but that price was completely fair! The steak was HUGE (poor photo attached), enough for 2-3 people. Hubby ordered the strip - again, excellent! And a huge portion (and hubby has a good appetite!). We ordered the tuna tartare as a starter - very fresh, tender and excellent. The menu has a nice amount of offerings - enough so that you have a selection to tempt anyone (vegetarian included) but not so much that you are overwhelmed. Our bill - for 2 HUGE steaks, that starter, a bottle of wine and a glass of prosecco was $220.00. I can't describe enough what an amazing value that is for the caliber of dinner we received. (and they offer cash discounts for payment.....) The entire staff were wonderful - a nice shout out to Mary, our server! And the place is so nice and small - very intimate, the kind of place you want to relax and enjoy - and they allow you to do so - they let you stay, relax and enjoy for as long as you like. I cannot give this restaurant enough praise. It's about an hour from our house - but WELL worth the trip!

The host was gracious and offered us immediate seating at a cozy spot at the bar, or a 45 min/ 1hr wait for a table. Since we were facing a 3 hour drive home after dinner, we opted for the bar and are so happy we did. The service was the best! Two cloth napkins opened up on the bar served as place mats, and so our meal began. My husband opted for the NY strip and I ordered chicken marsala. The steak was perfectly cooked as ordered ( warm pink center and char grilled on the outside), and lightly seasoned with salt, pepper & a little butter. My chicken was so tender, it cut with a fork and the sauce was full of flavor. The service was wonderful all evening, my husband said it was the best steak he’s had in years… I highly recommend this place. It is cozy and friendly. Yet, the food is elevated and super high quality.

This restaurant deserves a five star review! It’s amazing, the food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding. The ambience was very nice without being too stuffy. We had reservations at another restaurant but after seeing the review and close proximity to our air BnB, we canceled and made reservations here.We had an amazing anniversary dinner . Went home stuffed and happy.
