My family loved everything about this place. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the wonderful owner Benny and made to feel like family.
The vibe is definitely astetically fun and interesting. The place is clean and big.
Most importantly the staff and food are the super stars!
Our server Carla and her counterpart Cynthia were amazing. They were personable, professional and made great recommendations. When it came to the food....it was off the charts delicious! My wife's vegetable omelet was the best that I ever tasted. It was so fresh and I could taste the deliciousness of each vegetable! My steak and eggs was perfect and full of great flavors and my daughter's breakfast burrito was spot on. Plus our coffee was excellent!
Overall a perfect breakfast experience. I can't wait to return!

Moved to the village about a year ago and The Town Cafe quickly became one of our fav places. Consistently good food and great service!
Very satisfying American fare during tge vintage car show.
Amazing food - the steak sandwich was fantastic! Waitress was friendly and checked in regularly. Overall great experience
I don't think the A/C was working the day we were there, it was very uncomfortable. I had the eggplant parmesan and would not recommend it, it was crispy on the outside and fleshy and rubbery on the inside. The server never returned to top off drinks. Not a very good experience.
Delicious hashbrowns!
Had lunch at The Town Café in Saugerties and really enjoyed it. I had the steak sandwich, which was decent but a little dry—an extra slice or two of provolone might’ve helped. My wife ordered the BLT with avocado and absolutely loved it.
The portions were generous, and the service was excellent—friendly, prompt, and very accommodating. The café has a quirky charm, and while it was a bit warm inside, it was still a very pleasant atmosphere. Great spot for a relaxed, casual meal.
Good food
We have had breakfast and it was excellent!

Stopped in to grab breakfast to-go on our way to a hike. Solid standards - omelet, home fries, toast. Everything tasted great and was well-seasoned. Prices were very reasonable and portion sizes were perfect - not huge but plenty for our big appetites. We'll definitely be back!
Came for my birthday. The food is amazing.
I am a fried chicken snob. This is the first fried chicken I've had north of the Mason Dixon line that amazed me.
Hubby had the lasagna which was great and the sauce was over the top!
Blackened shrimp done perfectly.
The service is attentive and responsive and kind.
The owners are delightful and generous.
Also! Amazing Coconut Rice Pudding!
This is our new go to place in Saugerties.

Our first visit was great. Today's visit was not so good. The steak in the quesadilla and nachos had no seasoning. The nachos were glued together with melted cold cheddar cheese, like it had been sitting for a while. The waitress never stopped by to see how things were after giving us our food. We were very disappointed, sorry to say.

The town cafe is one of the most prosthesis
Places I have ever had the honor to find at. It’s atmosphere is so comforting reminding me of happier days. There food as good as there service is delectable from there fine mozzarella wedges to there finer meals wi the the hook and New York strip steak.I have eaten there so many times I say “May I get my usual.” They get me what I order the most I bet that you would get the same treatment from coming here often.Another thing I love are the great waitresses they really do bring the place alive to sweet and kind Morgan to the wonderful and funny Karla and of course there are more but you should meet them yourselves to fully experience there uniqueness. One thing that I honor about the town cafe is that they keep there facilities very tightly and clean which always makes a public restroom more comfortable. The last thing I would like to add to this review is there delicious desserts all hand made and home cooked with love just like everything else at the town cafe.

Waitress doesn’t come back to refill coffee or tea . Owner/ manager/ cook likes to argue about his sub standard cooking .
