Tony's on 43rd has been our go to place for years when we meet friends in NYC. 5stars all around every time. The family style means everyone gets a bit of goodness in 2-3 dishes. We had 7 at a round table and the closeness reminded me of our large family meals.

We are always happy to visit Tony's whenever we are visiting NYC. It has never disappointed us for the past 25 years, and we will be returning again in the future! Best Italian Food Ever

Our server Rob was outstanding. I will come back to this location as I have only been to the upper west side prior. We ordered the specials, salad with ricotta and tomatoes, and breaded flounder. From the house menu we ordered Tony's Veal, fettuccine alfredo, baked ziti Napolitano and chocolate mousse for dessert.

We have dined iat Tony D many times This one was exceptional because of our wonderful server Kush He made our dining experience even better than usual He was attentive, knowledgeable, caring and patient with all my questions Thank you for wonderful food and great service

We were a party of five people. We were greeted right away & seated immediately. Loved our table. Food & service was fantastic!! Portion sizes were unbelievable!! You definitely do not leave there hungry!! Informative & helpful server. Drinks were great too. Loved our experience.

Veal parm was phenomenal! Caesar salad great as well. Perfect location to the theaters. Definitely make a reservation. The only issue we had was that because it's all "family style portions" we planned to try several things (party of 4) and had seen that half portions were an option. Upon sitting, we were informed (at 6pm) that they were no longer doing half portions because they were in the thick of dinner. So, instead of trying several things we only got the veal parm. Couldn't even get a half portion of pasta to go with it. Was disappointing as we don't live in NYC and will likely not be back. Strawberry shortcake - definitely recommend.

We had 3 generations in our party. Of course the little ones were starving. While we adults were perusing the awesome menu the staff was on the ball bringing us a platter of spaghetti and meatballs for the hungry children! Staff and meal were wonderful! Will definitely return

Twin Veal Chops are unstoppable! Amazing nights at the theater should always start this good. Negroni was on point and Gluten Free options round out an excellent experience. Attentive staff always have you to your show on time and not feeling rushed.

Four of my female relatives and I ate at Tony's while having a Girls Weekend in NYC. The restaurant is right next door to the hotel in which we stayed. We loved everything we ordered, and also enjoyed the family style servings that allow you to sample more than one entree. Food was absolutely delicious, and the wine pours were more than generous. We were so astounded by the low cost for our meal. It was so much cheaper than other places we've eaten in the city. Our waiter was funny and entertaining, and the service was superb. Our only complaint was that it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. However, despite that, we will be back!

The food is excellent, and the portion sizes are perfect for a table of four. The service is speedy as the waiters/waitresses ask up front if you have a show to attend. If you don't have a show or other obligation, you never feel rushed to leave your table.

The shrimp & linguini was overcooked & rubbery. The chicken parmigiana texture was weird. The salad was fine. Generally a low end experience. A well managed Olive Garden location offers better food.

Overall experience poor. We liked this restaurant because of the great experience and today they changed my perception. They took us from the restaurant main floor to a downstairs area that was sad and look and feel totally different. The worst part was passing kitchen, restrooms and employees doors. Awful experience, ruined the moment.

Never disappointed when I book this restaurant! One of my favorite go to Italian restaurant in the theater area. Large family style plates for everyone to share! Service always on point, friendly and just outstanding! Highly recommend making reservations as this place is very popular.

The food was good, service was so so I've had better. I think he had too many large tables. It was very loud hard to have a conversation. I would definitely go back to their other location on the east side much better service, noise level and service.

Had an awesome time at the restaurant! Our server was super attentive, and the portions were huge—definitely meant for sharing. But hey, no complaints because the food was top-notch. If you're into it, go for the Fettuccine Alfredo, it's a winner for sure!
