Our service was amazing but the food was just not great. We had breakfast and the potatoes tasted weird almost like the oil was old. Not the best at all sadly.

Great diner experience with a menu as thick as a book. If you can't find something you like turn a page. Server was great.

It's a diner. Quiet when we went, food average, service good. Would go again; clean.

I know I've been here before, thought I did a review, but I guess not, so here we are!

The Village Diner meets my ideal criteria for a diner: small, family owned, authentic, unfussy, high quality, clean. Yep. This place has it all...

My omelet was huge (just the way I like them) and loaded with fresh ingredients. Cooked perfectly too. The home fries were well done (as I like) and with the added onions, fantastic. Bacon was crispy. English Muffin was decent too. I forget how much I spent but it was reasonable. Service was fast and friendly. This place is like 3.5 hours from home but since I'm up this way frequently, it's on my must-visit breakfast spots. If you like classic American diner food, you won't be dissapointed!
