This is a classic Italian restaurant. Years ago in NYC there were many small restaurants on side streets that had excellent food. Very few of those survive. But Aperiti is heir to that tradition. We just came back from three weeks in Italy and Aperiti is as good as any of the restaurants that we experienced in Rome. Maybe even better.

My steak was paper thin and overcooked and the gnocchi was as hot as lava. We took home most of the gnocchi and it was too hot to hold when we got home! Loud and not a good value, there are much better options in the neighborhood.

Friends wanted to try Aperiti and we hesitant because it can be really noisy. We were relieved to find only a few tables were filled and the room was quiet and cozy. The hostess had called us to let us know a number of the dishes on the menu were not available. We had a wonderful meal because the food and service are always good. Please install noise cancelling panels to make the restaurant more inviting.

Aperiti is our local go to ristorante! it is walking distance from our apartment. The food is outstanding made the best and freshest ingredients. Umma and Dorothy are wonderful professional servers who make the entire experience that more enjoyable!

Must admit didn't know what osteria was but once I found out. The Aperiti vibe was spot on. Quite a relaxed family or casual date night bite out. The food was fresh, inventive, bright. The calamari was made fresh not frozen. The place was full but not packed. The bar is where we ate so there was no room for others to hangout to drink. Seating was close to each other like the city but it was pretty Firenze otherwise.

Last night was my second time dining here and I wanted to say that the service was beyond exceptional. My girlfriend and I lingered and chatted for nearly 3 hours and we felt welcomed and never rushed. The combination of montepulciano with the margarita pizza is heavenly. Highly recommend!

This was our second time going to Aperiti and we were equally as pleased as our first time. Sometimes the uniqueness of a first time visit can cloud one's thoughts. When great service, great food, and great a great atmosphere occurs a second time, then it has to be consistency and quality.

The food and service were outstanding. They have raised their drink prices to $21 for a premium drink which seems a bit out of line and is nearly 25% higher than other premium restaurants in Scarsdale.

Aperiti Osteria, located in Scarsdale, is such a lovely spot for Italian + Mediterranean fare!! I visited this place for the first time this weekend - my friend & I had the best experience. The atmosphere inside of Aperiti is warm and cozy, and the staff are so wonderfully kind + accommodating. Their food is SO delicious, and perfect for sharing!! For salad, we tried the Arugula (so fresh + flavorful). For pizza, the Margherita was SO good (and it was the perfect portion size). We also got a side of their Truffle Fries, which was the perfect addition to each of the dishes we shared. For dessert, try their take on an Italian Tartufo (it was so delicious and presented so beautifully). For cocktails, I highly recommend their Aperol Spritz (they make a great one)!!
Our experience was so good that my friend and I literally camped at our table for almost 3 hours. Despite this, the staff at Aperiti were so, so kind - we weren't rushed or hurried out the door. 10/10 experience, I cannot recommend this spot enough!
