Closed on Mondays. Only found out after driving down and paying for a parking meter and walking down to a closed restaurant. Sign in window days closed Mondays. Tried to suggest an edit to their hours here but it was denied. Please update hours accordingly.
Excellent casual meal. Had the various appetizers and drinks. The waitress Jennifer was lovely. Kind of a hybrid Mexican /Sports bar kind of place.
The food is great as is the overall vibe of the place. The open faced quesadias are very interesting and have unique ingredients. They have bar and play music. Tv's on the wall had sports on.
Parking: The parking is kinda tough. It is street parking and there are very limited spaces. You might need to park at the bottom of the hill in the small municipal parking lot.
Food is delicious and their 4 leches cake is reeeeally good.
Great place. Awesome atmosphere. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Server was professional and knowledgeable about the menu.
I love tacos and these were delicious. Churros with ice cream, yes please!
Delicious, authentic Mexican style cuisine. Beautiful, well set up bar and AWESOME staff. Go for a great experience.
Second visit. Everything is very fresh. Margaritas are yummy and taste of being made with fresh squeezed limes. This time we tried the fried calamari and shrimp appetizer. Very good; probably one of my all time favorites; tasted so fresh. Every taco we have tried has been good. This time also got the General Tso’s cauliflower side. It was very good.
Love this restaurant! I found them during the pandemic. The food is amazing. The service is fantastic. Nice place. Great for a girls night out or a date. Just spent Cinco the Mayo there and they had a live dj! So much fun
Great food and the staff is amazing!

Really nice Taco spot. The atmosphere, including the decoration and music, gives it a warm feeling. Waiting staff was attentive and very friendly, with our orders being taken very quickly. Food came out after what must have felt like being just a few minutes and tasted great. Drinks were also good and so was the dessert. The seating arrangement are generous and I did not feel squeezed in.The menu is small, only being one page. Finding parking in the area can be tricky, and the it did feel cold indoors (my visit was in early March).Overall I would definitely visit again, and it is among my most liked Taco restaurants in Westchester.
First time here. Ambiance and music thumbs up!! The food was ok, a bit bland but edible. I was expecting a bit more of a kick to the salsa. Def not authentic Mexican food. A bit overpriced if you ask me. I’ve had better Mexican food at better prices.
I can't vouch that the food at El Barrio is authentic Mexican food ( I tend to doubt that General Tso's Cauliflower tacos are sold by street vendors in Mexico City), but what they sell is tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. So if you're a purist, sorry, but if you like good food, well this is the place.
The food is delicious and the service was great! Great staff! My family and I loved it!!
