Jewel of Himalaya is appropriately named “jewel” the food is yummy. The staff is warm and friendly. The service is excellent. And it's a truly fun place for a birthday celebration.

This was our second time dining at Jewel of Himalaya and it did not disappoint. Our party of 4 ordered 3 appetizers, 4 entrees and had a collective total of 6 beverages and the total bill was under $200 - very reasonable for a Saturday night out $100 per couple. The restaurant is lovely aesthetically, and the night we dined there was a fabulous guitar player that just sealed the vibe. The only reason I took a point off for ambiance was that we were sat inside at the tall floor to ceiling windows that leaked rain as it was pouring outside. Our hosts were aware and of course were kind and accommodating (it wasn't so bad that we had to move but enough that they came over to ask if we were disturbed) — a leak in the ceiling is a leak in the ceiling, so I couldn't give a 5 for this particular meal's ambiance but it would not remotely deter me from going there again.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner with some friends. They had nice live music! Really liked the ambiance. We could dine and still hear ourselves think! We decided to order a bunch of dishes and share a La family style. We ordered few types of bread, including garlic naan. The main thing I was looking forward to was the momos! We ordered the set of different flavors, which including chicken, beef and veggie. The desserts were also very tasty! My favorite was the rice pudding, I can't wait to come back here!

I def recommend it for everyone. Awesome spice and drinks and rice. By the way, you have an awesome looking bar! Their service is great. They serve food quick, made with top notch ingredients. The atmosphere is nice as it is calm. When it someone's birthday everyone sings along "happy birthday". They give you a cake and have a drum and let you bang it before making a nice, long memorable wish.
