I ordered a sheet cake for 50 people from Scarsdale Pastry Center. I had had their pastries before - which are delicious - but never their cakes so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The woman who took my order was very helpful describing to me what flavor combinations would go well together. I ended up choosing a vanilla cake with fudge filling and a vanilla buttercream frosting. I had told her what I had wanted written on the cake. She asked if the baker could decorate the cake and I said sure but otherwise gave no direction. I was absolutely blown away by what they put together! Firstly the cake was absolutely delicious! The fudge filling was so light and creamy and the cake itself was so fluffy. The vanilla buttercream was also very light which is exactly what I had wanted. The decorations were more than I ever imagined. Overall I had an amazing experience and will definitely be ordering from here again.

I placed a holiday order totally $150 One of the items wasn’t available but they didn’t call me. When I went to pickup my order is when they informed me. The cakes were all terrible. The 2 round challahs were dry. I don’t know what’s going on with them but they’ve lost my business and all my friends. What a disappointment. Their stuff was always good. Maybe there are new owners and bakers. Would like to know!

I ordered a cake for my daughter's bat mitzvah party which was made incorrectly and the cake turned out to be inedible.
They lost the order form and pictures I had emailed prior to the party. In addition, they called me repeatedly prior to the party despite knowing that we were in temple because they had a logistical question.
All in all a very disappointing experience. Order from Lulu's instead.

This is not the place to get an on theme cake. What a disappointment this bakery is. They do not have professional cake decorators. I went in and was assured that they would execute a one tier cake that was Toy Story theme. I asked for just clouds and a sign that said “A BOY STORY” clearly what was given to me was not even remotely close to the example photo I emailed them and showed them in person the day I ordered the cake. They did remove the letter “s” after my request and they offered to refund the money and they would keep the cake.Who in their right mind on the day of an event would walk away empty handed when they need a cake for a party. I was tempted to take my money back and leave them their came, however then I’d be left with no cake on the day of my God Son’s baby shower.All in all, this place has cute little cookies and pastries, but does not have expertise cake decorators. Would not recommend for any big themed cake decor.
My friend brought me these macaroons and they are absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back here.

Ordered a sugar-free strawberry shortcake for my mom’s birthday. She loved it. In fact, everyone raved about it. So creamy and moist and fresh. Also got the sugar free turnovers. Those were good too! A great treat for those who need to eat sugar-free. Definitely coming back.
