We used to love this place but it’s seriously gone downhill. I’ve resisted writing this review for a while hoping it would get better again but it’s just gotten worse.

The food is inconsistent. I’ve received undercooked potatoes and pancakes with raw batter in the center. They bring you a bottle of “Franks Hot Sauce” but it’s clearly an off-brand, overly spicy tabasco sauce. But in addition to the inconsistency, there are also cleanliness issues. (See pic)

The glasses we received today were unclean. 2 of 3 had remnants of someone else’s drinks. We assumed that they were just stained but noticed a bit late that the water actually tasted off (fruity/sweet.) We tried to flag the waiter down and he would respond “2 seconds, 2 seconds!” and then would never come back. He never checked on us.

We were also missing part of our order and we mentioned that at the time the food came out. We never received it and had to have the bill corrected. I had to walk up to the waiter to get it corrected because he dropped it on the table and ran away too fast. He told me to just put it down on the counter and he would fix it and bring it over. We waited another 20 minutes for that before I went back to the counter, picked up the receipt and asked again.

I get that places are under staffed but this was probably one of the single worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

Absolutely a wonderful place to eat and wonderful kind and quick staff and so come and relax solo or with company.... I totally recommend this place

Food is decent and experience is overall good.
Muffins are very good.
They will add berries and strawberries to most dishes and not mention that. If you're picky just ask to not have those with the dishes.

I've been here a few times since I'm a college student. Their drinks range but pretty standard.

Our breakfast was exceptional! Quality food prepared well. The pancakes are light and fluffy. Taste like they are homemade. Our server, Ally, was friendly, courteous, professional, and attentive. Coffee was tasty. Looking forward to returning very soon. Expect this to be a weekly experience.

Update: We brought home bourbon blueberry bread pudding muffins. They were the tastiest muffin I have ever had.

Amazing! Amazing! First- Ally is one of THE BEST servers I have ever come across. Her personality was infectious. I want to be Ally in my daily life.
Now the food! Breakfast was soooooooo good. The quality was first rate.Best pancakes I've had outside of my own house. "Berry Manilow" (Btw I'm also a fan of "the" Barry Manilow). Bacon was perfect, real maple syrup ? good coffee. There is no question that this is my new favorite breakfast place.

Excellent hopping local spot for food and drink. The food is delicious and prepared well. Service is very friendly and prompt. Electric seating options and casual areas for relaxing while enjoying a cocktail or meal. Definitely a good spot to stop for locals and visitors. Welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Fits the Schenectady vibe perfectly.

Found this gem while in town for a bowling tournament. Our hotel denied us breakfast because of staff not showing up. Not only did 10 of us get a table right away, but we also had amazing service and a great breakfast!

Parking: There is free parking on the street on the weekends. But there is a bit of a walk to get to the restaurant

Been there twice now- once with a party of 10 and once for takeout. Both times the food and service were great! Fun atmosphere- it’s the little hole in the wall worth stopping in and enjoying!

I had a Greek omelette with rye toast and home fries and it was absolutely delicious!! It had a steady walk-in/café style business but didn’t really impact the quality of service.

Parking: We went on a Friday morning and paid parking was accessible. There may be free parking around, but I was on a time crunch, and am not super familiar with Schenectady parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant would be fine, but the bathrooms definitely would not accommodate a wheelchair.

One of our favorite Schenectady lunch places. My cranberry turkey club sandwich was so good I was very pleased.
