Cozy diner great food amazing pastries

Best diner in the Capitol region. Been coming here since I was knee high to a grasshopper. The. Best. Cheesecake. Ever.

Actually, we did a takeout with the Pear Pecan Salad that was excellent. The recommended honey mustard dressing was surprisingly the perfect match. The order was ready as promised and the entire experience was perfect. Looking forward to our next meal from Blue Ribbon.

My table ordered the NY Strip & eggs with hash browns & toast, and chicken tenders with fries, & fried mozzarella sticks. Everything was great. The steak & fried eggs were perfect. The fries, tenders, & mozzarella sticks were all delicious.

The staff & waitstaff were very attentive & courteous. The restroom is well maintained.

The dessert display caught our eyes on the way in & out but we decided against getting some to go, only because we had a long drive in hot car.

I really loved the pancakes and eggs,very easy to locate the diner, and you are immediately seated by super nice hostesses, they didn’t take long with my plate or juice too, I definitely will go back anytime I’m in the area.

I have been going to Blue Ribbon for years.
There is a big change lately. Order an omelet
With a meat. You will not have enough to taste.
The cream of chicken was the best. Now it is thin and you will be lucky if you find a small piece of chicken. The Italian Wedding soup
Now the meatballs are cut on 4 pieces.
What a shame. Penny wise pound foolish.

Everything was great but honestly we went for the dessert. We brought home amazing macaroons, mousse cake, apple crumb pie, and rainbow cookies ?

This family restaurant is nice for all ages and casual gatherings. Meals and Service are excellent. Atmosphere is nicely lit, booths/tables are comfortable and music soft and low. Desserts are delicious!

Great home cooked food in a comfortable setting. Try their open face roast beef (called beef commercial west of here). Also try their fabulous roast turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, and salad for 19.99 (and there's plenty for two!)

This place needs to be on your list of regular stops.
