Nice spot. Only gripe was my buzzer didn't work and the bartender(who was super nice) brought me my Poutine. Unfortunately it was cold by then. Would have been much better hot.

This is a bar that does a nice job being a bar. I know that is kind of a simplistic thing to say, but they do the basics right. Serve decent drinks, check in, are friendly, don't leave you hanging for a drink or attention. The space is well set up. All on all, nice spot to hang out.

Actually I’m not big fan of Pub food, went there with my wife for her Christmas/retirement party.The food was fair to need’s improvement.Next time we’ll order the steak and Heineken.

I'm very disappointed, I heard such great things about this place. we ordered dinner and I had a chicken Caesar salad. to say shocked I open the bag and the container was the size of a side salad, and it was the smallest piece of chicken. I wouldn't complain usually but it was almost $20.

Had a chance to check out this Schenectady bar. It seems to be a long time local favorite around here. Center Street Pub is a great place for watching a game or anything. Lots of stuff to drink from beers and whatever else. The food is also much better than you would think it would be too. A good pub has lots of beers. It's certainly the case here. There's tons to choose from to be sure. It's about $7 for most pints. There's lots of local ones to choose from, including Frog Alley and wherever. Also there's tons of classic old beer cans to check out. These are up on all the walls. Food is better than expected. There's quite a few surprises. It's about $5 for a cup of the Vegan Chili. This has quite a spice. Good better than average bar. It's nothing fancy but it has a fun atmosphere and there's plenty of room. The food menu is friendly to vegans and vegetarians.
Its a well worn bar that's comfortable. Large selection of beers on draft. The food was disappointing greasy over cooked fries that were cold right from the grill. The menu made it all sound good but its rather basic frozen commercial fried food. Without any tlc on the cooks end. Bonus was that I was able to exchange my cold poutine fries for average mozzarella sticks.

A great bar to make friends! every time we come to Centre Street we meet great people (except for the guy who wanted his $3). The bartenders are the best and the happy hour specials are great ! Definitely one of our favorite hangouts.

I went to centre st pub to celebrate my birthday, was offered the birthday boot and was told the outside was open for guests, when I was ready to leave there was a gentleman at the outside bar cleaning up and I asked him if he would take care of it for me because I didn't want to drop it, he told me sure and to have a good rest of my birthday. woke up the next day to a $112 charge on my card so I went in to ask why and they told me someone stole the boot and that's why it was such a "ridiculous" charge. so a $25 glass boot you can order online costed me $112 for other peoples carelessness in properly doing their job. After explaining this to the manager he didn't even offer to refund the charge or at least half. Now I'm out $112 for someone else's mistake. Do better honestly

We reserved a room until 11:00 PM and then were told at about 9:40 PM that we needed to be out by 10 PM. Other than that miscommunication, the staff were great, food was good and environment was exceptional! I would definitely reserve a room here again, or just stop by for drinks at the bar!
