the food here was really good! we got the ditch fries as an appetizer and they were so good! i got a personal pizza, my party got a french dip sandwich, a southwest chicken wrap, and a build your own burger. the portions were nice and big and we went early so there was barely anybody there. our waitress was really nice. there is bar seating or table seating but there aren't a ton of tables in there so I would recommend going early if you are going on a busy night. overall, i don't know why the reviews are so low! definitely coming back soon!

!!!BE CAREFUL!!!! i got a steak salad medium rare and it came very rare, i ate one piece didn’t like how it felt or tasted. cooked it some more at home and still got food poisoning. 20 dollars for a salad that made me sick.

Good food. I recommend the chicken parmigiana! It was delicious and didn’t have a pile of cheese on it like other places serve. We had big portions and they have good prices. Good size menu too. Lots to choose from. We sat outside which was nice but the inside seating is better.

Such a nice patio. We walked in with 11 people and the food and the service was fabulous. I would definitely recommend Clinton's Ditch if you are in Schenectady.

There is a 3.5% service charge to all credit cards. Let me say it again since they do not warn you when you sit down. There is a 3.5% service charge on all payments made with a credit card. It does say it on the itemized check and apparently it "usually says it on the depot sign" but not while I was there. They do not warn you when you sit down. This was a little frustrating for us in a world where more and more places are going card only and do not want to deal with cash. The food service was also very slow, I do not take issue with this personally but I know some people do. The food was good but I was frustrated that both of the pasta options on the menu involved spicy sauce. The Chicken Parm sandwich was delicious though.
