Cornell’s was always a favorite but tonight not at all. We started with Utica greens and shrimp oreganato for apps. The Utica greens were decent. Shrimp was totally under-seasoned and while nice sized had no flavor. The dinners: two chicken francaise and one cod piccata. All 3 came with a thick tasteless cream sauce and the chicken was white not seared and had no flavor. The sauce for the chicken was very heavy and lacked flavor, no lemon, mushrooms or capers. Terrible presentation....
Had a banquet after my mom's memorial service and the service and food was top notch! Thank you Maria Pappas for making a difficult situation very easy for my family. I called her - and a plan went into action immediately. Other facilities I had called, never even responded. The choice was clear cut and I highly recommend using Cornell's for any type of special events. The food was plentiful and remarkable and enjoyed by all 35 guests.
