Addendum: dined at the bar solo tonight and it was just as good. The service was quick and efficient. I repeated choices from the prior visit specifically the Caesar salad and the crabcake appetizer. Both were great, although the crabcakes were clearly overly salted, although it may have been the romulade. The check was presented quickly and overall and a great solo meal.
Our first time here. Early dinner seated promptly. A booth in back could not hear the casino noise. Taken care of by Terrance who did a great job. Checked in often requests handled promptly.
Entrees are in the mid 30’s and up. Salads in the high teens and sides in the teens as well.
A cosmopolitan was delivered made as requested. The warm rolls were superb and addictive! “Everything bagel” butter was perfect on the bread.
We had two salads two apps and a side. The chopped salad has great with kale and romaine as well as yellow beets apples and a maple vinaigrette. Wonderful cold and crisp. The wedge contained the usual plus onions. Rather than one large iceberg wedge there were multiple pieces of lettuce.
For dinner we had a shrimp cocktail…4 large shrimp (10-12 size I’d guess) with a cocktail sauce that could have been spicier. The shrimp were carefully de-shelled. The crab cake appetizer was perfect. Two large crab cakes served
On remoulade sauce. All crab, no filler. A slight bit oilier than I’d like but superb. We also share a ($12!) baked potato served with bacon butter and sour cream on the side. One small complaint-we were charged for shredded cheese, not requested nor were we told about the charge. Potato was great.
We passed on dessert. Note to Duke’s management-improve the dessert menu. Describe the items don’t just list them. Tell us something about the cheesecake or explain “hot chocolate cake”. The menu is boring and not enticing.
Overall wonderful and relaxing, albeit expensive! We will be back!

Went there on Thursday night for my son‘s birthday, everything was really good. I got the lobster mac & cheese, and it was delicious!
My son enjoyed his filet mignon.

The filet was amazing (so tender with tons of flavor!) and so are the mashed potatoes. Skip the salad though lol.

Food good, ordered chopped salad w/chicken ( cannot eat beef or pork), partner ordered Marsala chicken and side of Brussel sprouts (same conditions), Marsala good, not so much Brussel sprouts. Service slow (by design?), portions ok but overpriced, as was quality. Won't be returning, although good, there are other places better, and/or more reasonably priced.
It's really not fair that a place like this can get away with charging in excess of $30 for a bad steak. It's not the prep or the cooking; it's simply low quality beef. Anyone thats cooked a steak knows that hours or days of prep cant make up for the fact that the only thing that matters is the quality of the beef and the cut; a good steak can be iron seared for ten minutes and be delicious. When i complained about the quality, the manager informed me their steaks were dry aged for so long, prepped with these spices etc etc which, even if true, cant cover up poor quality meat. Im guessing they figure most people either wont come back, are drunk, or have no taste. When i go to a casino im used to the atlantic city or vegas treatment; there are really good restaurants to make it an enjoyable experience regardless of how much you win or lose. The other restaurants in the scenectady casino arent supposed to be great (theyre either fast or the really bad chinese place); if they want people to stay, spend their money, have an 'experience', therefore, this would be the place to make it. Instead, it's just a ripoff.

We were late to our reservation and still accommodated...with a smile. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was excellent!
Our dinner was great! Our meal came out too rare for us. They remade the whole meal. Our server was absolutely amazing! Everything was great quality and everyone was so friendly
Ordered the 8oz filet. Cooked medium to perfection and so tender it melted in your mouth. The twice baked potato was excellent. Our server was sweet, and efficient. It was a really perfect dining experience. Pricey but you are also paying for the whole experience. Everything was top notch.
Food and service were excellent. Once We were seating a solo artist set up to play right by our table. If we had been told in advance I would have asked for a different table. She was talented but way too loud for the space. The four of us had to talk loudly to hear each other. Totally ruined the ambiance. I let them now and they had me speak to the Marketing Manager who didn't seem very concerned. For the amount of money we spent on dinner, the music totally killed the vibe of trying to socialize with friends. I am very disappointed
Very nice staff Clean and pretty dining room in the casino. The area i ate in was opened into the casino. The Bar the slots and tables could be seen while eating. All could look in at me eating. Would have liked more privacy. The wedge salad appeared thrown together and was not actually a wedge. The Bleu cheese was better than average. Not runny Appropriately thick. But not drizzled just thrown into a lump.( If you want to see the wedge done RIGHT go to delmonicos. Thiers is excellently presented. And the balsamic is...wow. ) The bread rolls better than average. Fresh good. Comes with ( everything bagel) salted butter. That's a nice touch. The baked potato was good. Fine napkins and cutlery. When asking the waiter what menu items he would suggest I try, he recommended the highest priced items on the menu. Will be returning to try the seafood and steak as recommended. BUT I'm always impressed when a waiter recommends lower priced items as well. The best Chef puts pride in ALL his work. There was NO pride in my salad. So 3 stars.

Never ever is my food served hot it's always luke warm, I've been coming here since you have been open and think it can't happen again and sure enough. You should go to Morton's there food is amazing and always served hot. Shame in you Dukes another disappointment.
Our experience was a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious!
I had the 22oz Ribeye. I ordered it cooked medium and it came cooked as ordered. And while it was good, it could have been great had some seasoning been applied. It was not a $60.00 steak in my opinion. The waitress did not hide her displeasure in the fact that we weren't ordering sides or additional items. After tasting the steak I'm glad I didn't.
Food was great the steak was very good and the service was really great . Great experience
The food and service were excellent. Server John was very friendly and attentive. Steaks were cooked to perfection, drinks were sturdy and everything was fresh and delicious including a piece of cake for the birthday we were celebrating.
