I buy jerk chicken and rice and peas with side order of plantain.. rice n peas was hard as well as jerk chicken is has no sauce and was hard as rock and brunt.. now the plantain was under cook.. this is the second time buying from this place.. and both time the food is no good. First time I said to myself maybe it's a bad day for the cook but second time same thing.. overall the food sucks

Extremely rude. Save your money and eat somewhere else that treats its customers better. I will NEVER go there again. Food is over priced, small portions and didn’t taste good.

Happened to be in the area of West Capitol Park, on foot, and got hungry. Just happened to see this restaurant was open (a lot is closed on the weekend near the capital) and had a lunch special advertised in the window.I went inside and was warmly welcomed and I ordered the Curry Chicken lunch special - which was just under ten dollars - and got me a GENEROUS helping of hot and flavorful rice, curry, mixed vegetables, and several big pieces of chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and ready to fall off the bone, perfectly saturated with spicy flavorful curry and rice. The cabbage went perfectly with the rest and complimented the meal flawlessly.This restaurant is an absolute diamond in the rough and the meal simply made my day.I am coming back again and bringing my financeé - and can’t wait to try the whole menu!

The atmosphere had a lot to be desired but the food was great. The Mac and cheese was outstanding. Love the cabbage , curry chicken and the fried chicken wings were excellent.
