Happened to be in the area of West Capitol Park, on foot, and got hungry. Just happened to see this restaurant was open (a lot is closed on the weekend near the capital) and had a lunch special advertised in the window.I went inside and was warmly welcomed and I ordered the Curry Chicken lunch special - which was just under ten dollars - and got me a GENEROUS helping of hot and flavorful rice, curry, mixed vegetables, and several big pieces of chicken. I am from Brooklyn and this food was so good. I tried another place in albany that was not good at all but franks hit the spot. The j*** pork was juicy it was tender and packed with flavor. The j*** chicken was also juicy, flavor filled down right great. The roti was nice and hot. I will be ordering again for my family. They truly enjoyed. Most definitely will be referring to others.
