Skip the loaded fries, and go for the tenders if you don’t mind them being a bit dry for an excellent crisp. The Jalapeño aioli recommended to me by the lady was great— and so was her caring energy. Would go back and try the burgers

was here around lunch time, manager/shift leader was screaming at one of the only other employee’s working during lunch rush. I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, i know they can be kinda cut throat some times but this is definitely drawing a line. Screaming over personal issues as a manger during peak business hours, when you are only working with a total of 2 others is not how any manager should operate. Regardless of how many workers they had on, the manner in which this man was yelling at his employee was disgusting. He clearly lacks any respect for the customers, the business, or the employees.This was the schenectady location .

Saw that this place was across the street from the hotel we're staying at and decided to eat here for dinner. Service was really good. Food tasted great 👍 very filling.

The burger had a piece of metal in it upon delivery with sealed bag smh and the patties are super thin, greasy burger buns ....not all that as I expected it to be

The food is fabulous! However, it's the second time I've been there and there's no ice for your fountain drinks. Once someone gave us our food, they disappeared in the back and they couldn't get their attention. And there were no paper towels in the restroom which is always a pet peeve for me. But the burger was excellent! And the blueberry soda was delicious. I just wish we had ice.

Gritty atmosphere that has an authentic local no-frills feel. The food is simple but delicious; the Nerdy Bird in particular is amazing - spicy breaded chicken with pickles and aioli on a potato bun that puts other chain chicken sandwiches to shame. The service was even better when we visited; the person at the register apologized up front for the brief wait because they had a big order in process and was great at communicating about the status of our food. I wish I lived in the area so I could come here more often.

I love Herbie's in Albany and Troy, I've never had an issue. I swear by them, it's my favorite burger spot in the 518, and I miss it when I'm out of town. The person I was with got a burger with fries and a shake with no whipped cream. They made it with whipped cream, so instead of remaking it, they pulled one out of the freezer that prolly wasn't freshly made. The fries were stale, they didn't taste like the fresh Herbie shoestring fries I'm used to. I got a burger, and it had a hair in it :/ Ngl I was gonna ask them to remake it, but it was 10:30 at night. Hope they figure things out over there, it's disappointing that the quality dropped at the Schenectady location.

The burger was so juicy and delicious, gluten free buns, staff was educated on how to handle food for people with celiac, and they had a separate fryer for French fries!
