One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever eaten. Don't be swayed by the building!

From last summer - Great place for an excellent chicken sandwich after a painting class at Mabee Farm. Sat outside and people watched and enjoyed ourselves. Rustic and charming. Took a while for the food, but it was worth it.

My Wife and I were biking the Empire State trail and rode by it early today. Stopped in for some great breakfast sandwiches! We were treated so nicely by everyone inside, including some locals who came by for food. Highly recommend this little gem ? ?

Bikers beware, the treats here may cause over indulgence.First time coming here since my old man began to bring home baked goods from the store for over a year now, and since I was on the other side of the river I decided it was my time to stop in.Much smaller inside than I expected, but the bakery treats I sought were right up at the front. Went with a Mini-Mini Apple Pie, a Cranberry Orange Scone, a Custard and Apple Leaf, a Linzer torte cookie, and a small loaf of the Maple Cinnamon bread. Which all together only came out to be $18, an extraordinarily inexpensive deal for the tasty goodies. The leaf was my favorite by far, simple, soft, and sweet. Followed up by the mini-mini which was indeed just a very small apple pie, and in 3rd place the maple cinnamon bread. A little secret to make the bread even better is to slice it up, pop it into the microwave for 60 seconds, and then pour a bit of maple syrup on it. Delicious. As for the torte and the scone, well, the tort was strangely wet with the filling not really having solidified and the scone was super dry and not sweet at all. That said, 3/5 at the price I paid is still deserving of full marks. Plus, the girl staffing the store was friendly and eager to help, so bonus points either way.

Stopped in for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. It was good! Didn't realize I had left my wallet till they knocked on my door hours later. People are good and kind hearts are everywhere. They have a sweet selection of handmade local gifts and some yummy jams and jellies. Seems like a good selection.
