First time here and the guy at the door was polite and welcoming. Bartender with brunette hair was rude, didn’t listen to orders correctly, then even more rude after the right order was made, gave me limes in my hand to to pair with our tequila and had no salt. When I asked if there were napkins available to lay said hand limes on was offered a bar rag 😳 sat back and watched her roll her eyes at everyone that ordered a drink afterward. But great atmosphere and good music. Bartenders literally make customers want to come back but I’d want to order from this particular one again. She wasn’t pleasant or welcoming at all! Her name was Johnna 👎

A great neighborhood spot in the Electric City. Great spirit selection and a nice selection of local craft beer on tap. A bar to not be missed in downtown Schenectady. Try the green tea shots!

Please let the bartender control the music (according to the crowd).

Place is a dump, never open at all the good times, no food, flat beer, horrible service

great live music, which is not that loud compared to other places where you can't here the person you're talking to already. the staff was nice and the bar looks very clean and organized! If you want to have a drink and feel relaxed, Jay St Pub is a great place
