If I could give Johnny's a 6/5 I would I love the food and the atmosphere and my waitress Sara(h) was so kind and informative of the menu and all questions we had. I got the brushetta and she suggested the cheese of the side due to my fiance not liking it. Would go back 10000/10

The absolute BEST MEATBALLS IN SCHENECTADY!! Loved their sauce too.. They are flavorful but not too garlicky , or salty and no signs of thick chunky breading.. I'm Italian and honestly they are the closest to the way my mom made them in the 50 yrs I've lived here. They are also huge and had leftovers that were even better the next day !! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at Johnny’s! The food was incredible, everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was great, but what really made the night special was our waiter, Jojo. Jojo went above and beyond from the moment we sat down. Super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing. He made great recommendations, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving great service. Because of Jojo, this wasn’t just a good dinner — it was a great experience. We’ll definitely be back and asking for him again!

Dana is a superstar and shows excellence in serving. She does not play! She is friendly, personable, and knows just what you want to order. She helped both my friend and I decide on our meals quickly based on her suggestions. Dana was very accommodating. Quite honestly, we were obsessed with her. You can tell she is confident based on her knowledge of the menu and how she treats her tables like a long beloved friend.

Johnny’s has never disappointed me when I visit their restaurant, so this year — as in years past — we decided to order Christmas dinner for 12 people. I want to mention that every one of my family members and guests thought the food was absolutely amazing and delicious.
Our order included a 12‑lb prime rib, salmon piccata, lobster mac & cheese, roasted potatoes, and green vegetables — all of which were excellent.
A big shout‑out to the owners the cook,and the staff, who were more than congenial and attentive to my needs. Next holiday, I’ll be ordering the same way again, with full confidence that everything will turn out wonderful.

Great food and nice portion sizes. Carrot cake was fantastic. Jo Jo is an excellent waiter. All staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and well organized. Nice atmosphere, though loud in the dining area when busy. Looking forward to going back.
Made reservations stating we had a special birthday and requested a slice of cake be served after dinner. They ne er bothered to.bring it. Making a special occasion now just an ordinary dinner

We had a 40th birthday for 20 in one of the side rooms. Walking in early with a balloon bouquet, a young gentleman came out and propped the door for me before I could even open it. That was the start of fabulous service throughout the evening. Our server, Sarah, was quick, thorough, and no one had to wait long for a cocktail. She wrangled our boisterous group at all the right times, and made it look easy. The food was delicious, and everyone had a great time. Thank you for making our friends birthday one to remember!

We had our rehersal dinner here and got many compliments about the quantity and quality of food. The group price fix menu seemed like a decent value at 58$ (we chose premium cuts of meat like shrimp and steak) plus 20% tip per person for a 3 course meal.
