First time ever!!!! Staff was incredible!!! Food was amazing ( Mac& Cheese with Chicken) The best I have ever had. Most of it came home with us. Definitely a very beautiful Irish establishment. Will definitely be coming back. Worth a 45 minute trip.

While at Katie O'Byrne's I had the pleasure of meeting the "manager" (flag tattoo on the neck). This man sat at the bar and did shots with patrons all night. He then began to get nasty with people, to the point where the bartender apologized that I had to witness it. He was insulting three women behind me. I then turned and told him I couldn't believe he was the manager. He stormed off, yelling, "I can't believe you're trying to tell me how to do my job." I will not return to a place that allows a man like that to manage.

So we came here before an event for a quick bite. We are not native to Schenectady so this spot came up with high reviews. My first experience here will likely be the last as I don’t see going out of my way to come here. We were seated promptly but despite a fairly staffed establishment the server (wasn’t worth getting her name) seemed more interested in bossing around the bus boy (kudos to him for taking it). I got the prime rib sandwich. It was under seasoned and bland, so was the dipping gravy. Friends burger was similar. I expected the food to be bursting with flavor. I could cook better at home. There are other items I would try, but like I said, I wouldn’t make the effort. I would pass up this place if you’re a first time and wondering.

The place wasn't at all crowded. I came to watch the buffalo game. The onions had an excellent crunch. But the fish sandwich has been better. Service was attentive and friendly.

Solid Homemade Food! Wings are Incredible, celtic fish sandwhich w onion rings all really really good! Heard about this place Roger Wyland talking about watching Yankee games here on his radio show, been here 3 times so far always great, kid friendly on a Saturday afternoon for a beer with the family here and watch the Yankee games
for a few innings
while eating you wont be dissapointed!

I came for Kilkenny and was happy to find the food was as good as the beer. The Reuben Egg rolls and Delmonico Ribeye are fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Food, service and atmosphere were good. I'd describe it as specialized pub food. Service was attentive with time allowed between salads, apps and main meal (not rushed). Food came out hot. A very good beer selection. Wine selection not so broad, but adequate. Clean, spacing between tables allowed for easier conversations. A good value
