From the second we walked in, we felt like family. Such a cute little shop with the warmest, most welcoming energy — the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood. My friends Jorge and Sue referred us here, and now I understand why they spoke so highly of it. The food was unreal — fresh bread, stacked portions, and made with real care and pride. This isn’t just a sub shop, it’s a place that actually cares about people and quality. We’re so grateful for the recommendation and will absolutely be coming back again and again. Support spots like this — they’re special.

Can’t make a sandwich right, ordered an American mix with bacon. No roast beef and she forgot the bacon. Watched another girl make the complete wrong sandwich but at least she ended up making the right one for the guy.

First time going here. I ordered an Italian mix sub and it was delicious and the bread was great. They don’t skimp on the meat, it was piled on. The women behind the counter were friendly and courteous. I will be going back when in the area.

Fantastic Italian deli I was lucky enough to discover today. Highly recommend the homemade roast beef and the prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sub. Look forward to returning!

I’ve always heard good things about LaGioia so I decided stop in and see what it was all about. I ordered a an Italian mixed sub and a pound of tortellini salad. The bread was stale, the meat was chintzy and the vegetables were ugly. The tortellini salad was soggy. I’ll never step foot in there again. Unbelievably overpriced !

I ordered a sandwich on a hard roll and it was delicious! There was the perfect amount of meat and cheese.

Ridiculous prices. The pasta is 5 x what it used to be. Unfortunately I will not go back. Have heard many people say this. If you want to make it stop ripping people off who have been dedicated to you 😢

Amazing staff and good. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. The best I’ve ever had and you won’t go wrong.

If anyone wants a nice fresh cut sub, this is this place.

I normally do not drive up Van Vranken, but today I did.... boy, was I glad I did. Parking is a little difficult, especially if you're a first timer like me..... but once you go, you'll know where to park.

You go in, and you're greeted by staff behind the counter. The deli is bright and very clean. They have all you Italian cooking needs on and around the shelves. It was about 4 to 5 people in front of me, but they were quick on moving people through. The young lady asked what I wanted ....I do my normal "surprise, I don't want to know." She smiles, and I got something for you...

I had no clue until I opened it up, and it was stacked with 3 different meats, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, salt / pepper ... and the best part roasted red peppers...TDF

Don't take my word for it.
. Go try it yourself. You won't be disappointed...

Thank you, guys, for making my 1st experience a good one, cause I will be coming back !!
