The MIAN is a restaurant in the landing hotel that served my family an absolute horrible not even a edible dish. It’s supposed lettuce warp but all they have was a bowl of meat and a big piece of lettuce that they claim they have washed but it’s all yellowish, old AND EVEN HAS A BUG. The meat is SO SALTY. It’s supposed to be “Thai meat” but it’s literally GROUND MEAT. WDYM MEAN ITS FREAKING $15???? AND IT took AN HOUR to be served for it to look like this. I RATHER EAT JUNK FOOD FROM THE GAS STATION! NEVER AGAIN. DONT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING! I don’t know how it’s not shut down by the health department and they called themselves a restaurant????????

Not even sure of where to start..ok..the fruit flies.. all over the place...the tea that wouldn't steep..the firecracker shrimp dipping sauce that was curdling in the cup..or the pepper steak that was so thickly cut it was impossible to chew. The rice was inedible..and to see the shrimp on the final bill..unbelievable .if 0 was a score..it would be all..very disappointed

Food was really good. One waiter who was meeting everyone's needs at each table by himself. The setting was really nice and the food tasted great! Would definitely come back again!

Overall the food is outstanding and the service is great. We had the HK crispy noodles, spring rolls, sweet walnut shrimps, and beef tender soup. Restaurant is small, they do mainly take out. Quality is high, taste is superb, definitely would go back. They should expand the seating, needs an update.

The worst customer service I have experienced. When getting our food one of my family members noticed a hair in her fried rice. When we called the sever Kristy G. she asked, “who has long black hair, because none of my staff do.” Insinuating that one of our hairs must have been in the food. However, when manager Roop came out I did notice that she had both colored and black long hair. Regardless, for Kristy to suggest that it was one of our hair in the food made our dining experience uncomfortable and unappetizing.In addition, manager Roop came out to offer us additional sauces to add taste to our food when she overheard my family members stating that the food was tasteless, that the rice was clumpy and not fried properly. Since we sat right next to the front desk they were able to hear everything. Even when we were trying to swat away a fly in the middle of eating.Due to overhearing us, manager Roop was well aware that my family were not pleased with our food, so she even went to the back to bring out a pepper oil type of sauce and stated that it would make the fried rice taste better.Towards the end of eating 3 out of my 6 family members left a whole plate of their food, only having taken a few bites. When we tried to get the bill Roop and Kristy were nowhere to be seen. When I finally saw Roop I let her know of our overall experience and she said that there was nothing she could do about bad taste. I added that our rice was clumpy, not fully fried, there were files flying around in the restaurant, and that there was a hair in our food. Therefore I was not just complaining about taste, but also food quality and customer service. Roop then stated that this is how the rice is, brought out the chef who said the same thing and added that there was still nothing that she could do. In addition she said the hair was ontop of our food not in it. When I said the customer service was bad she said she personally came over to our table “several times” which was also not true since she only came over when she overheard us talking about the food not tasing well and tried to resolve it with adding sauce.With everything I had to say, Roop had a dismissive response, which I let her know goes to show the poor customer service of the establishment. We never got an apology from anyone working at Mian or any type of understanding. For this reason I requested to speak with someone above Roop and for everyone’s name. Roop stated that there was no one above her and that I could fill out an online survey. I stated that there must be someone above her that I could speak with but she kept denying this. I asked 3 different times for the employees names but they ignored me. On my last try I finally got their name tag names. When Kristy G. heard that I was putting her name tag name in my phone, in the back I could here her yelling that “it was illegal for me to add her name in my phone” and was threatening me by saying her father was in the military and so on. Not sure what that had to do with anything, but Roop also stated that “I was acting like the mother of the table” which is discriminatory to me because I am a small built, young female, trying to voice my concerns and she was making fun of me for it.If I could continue this review I would type paragraphs more. The reason I am posting this is to ensure that other people do not have to go through what I did. Please do not allow these employees to dismiss you and make you think that nothing else can be done in a situation like this. I am proof that there was more that could be done. This is because after full paying the bill and getting no help or understanding from the Mian staff, I went to a security guards who got me the manager of Rivers Casino for food and beverage. I spoke with Khalil who was visibly upset by what happened and gave me a partial refund 1 hr 30 mins after getting the original bill.I want this poor customer service to stop with me because as a Schenectady resident I do not want Rivers Casino to loose business over something as simple as this.

Terrible service here , no tables to sit at so we could only order take out. Then waited 40 minutes and there was 8 tables open we sat down cause we wanted to eat and we were told that we were NOT allowed to eat there cause we ordered out. Only reasons we ordered out was because there were no tables at that time and I gave her a $10 tip . This place will never see another dime from me again . Very rude staff, can’t get the orders right rude staff long wait time. Spent $70 on my wife and I and I couldn’t even enjoy my cold messed up food order at a table . I definitely do not recommend coming here, unless you want you blood pressure to go up.Food is terrible pepper steak has 3 inches of grease filled in it barf !!!?Dirty place !!!! Flys bugs. Even inside there duck sauce packets

I went to bed hungry.It's the worst food I’ve pretty much ever paid for.It's not authentic Asian cuisine. Cucumber sliced into 4s with hot sauce from a bottle drizzled over it. $8zLettuce chicken wraps. Chicken? It looked like ground meat. In a container, I had to scoop on a piece of lettuce. So disappointed. Beware.We also ordered egg rolls and didn't receive them. No way was I ordering them. She didn't even put it on our ticket. SMH

First of all, the waitress I had was awesome. She could see I was up in the air about being a single diner and taking up room in a small area. She came right up to me (without me saying anything) and told me "just sit right over there honey". Melted my heart and read my mind. The spring rolls are amazing and the dumplings are even better. 100 percent coming back on a tegular basis.

Got the orange sesame chicken - it was fresh, hot and tasted great. It was busy when we got there and the wait staff were hustling to accommodate everyone - great job! Would eat here again.

We first ate here 9 months ago, and decided to try it again last night. This time we experienced a dirty table, fruit flies and lukewarm food that wasn't very good. Since this establishment is inside the spotless casino, it was surprisingly bad. We weren't very impressed.

We have been going here for years and all of a sudden our shrimp fried rice was piece's of shrimp. I had noticed they keep getting smaller but not they cut them in half. If we didn't do take out I would not have accepted it. What's next canned shrimp. Common go back to a decent shrimp. I see they only respond to good reviews. Oh well construct of criticism can only help.

Got the General Tso's chicken. It was very good and a sizable portion at that. Seating is limited but our server, Rozena was very good. I would come back for sure.

The worst wait staff and customer service I have ever experienced. Sat at our table for 15 minutes and were never even given menus tonight. Have been given the wrong orders previously. I will say this experience guaranteed I will not return.
