Epitome of a classic hot dog joint. Simple good food. We got there at a slow time so our party of 6 was able to sit right away but right after we ordered it got very busy. Service may have been slow for some but the server was extremely friendly and working hard. Meat sauce was good. Onion rings great. Everything was hot and fresh. Large French fry order was huge!
I had another place in mind for my layover but they were closed today and I stopped here instead. Wow! I’m blown away at the quality of food for the cost. Great burger, really good dog (sauce has a hint of spice but not much) and hand cut fries exactly like expected a little crispy and delicious!! I can’t wait for my next layover at Amtrak so I can eat here again!

The service is absolutely deplorable. Their servers besides one older lady are very rude and talk to you as if you’re a problem. A simple request such as a little extra cheese sauce sent this server in a tizzy and tried charging an extra dollar… place has gone down hill. It’s says a lot when the cooks are the most polite people in the joint.
