Pre-cooked, under seasoned, dry beef…
Topped with cheese instead of mixed it.
Don’t waste your time or money.

Very friendly local steakhouse with hot and delicious steak sandwiches. Waffle fries were fresh and crispy. Lots of history with plenty of parking.

Nothing better than a Morrette sausage patty or a steak sandwich. Great old school joint for over the top eats.

Ordered a burger and fries for pickup and it was delicious. The burger was cooked the way I asked, and fries were crisp and well seasoned.

The outside of this place looks like it could be in some Edward Hopper knockoff, giving it an old school vibe, which was further enhanced by sitting at the counter. You gotta love watching your food being prepared right in front of you. The service was friendly and attentive. And for the grand finale…the steak sandwich…btw I’ve had better Philly’s outside of Philly than I have in Philly, which is odd to me…anyway, it wasn’t the best Philly I’ve ever had, but I wasn’t expecting it be either. I think it’s important to keep in mind that this place doesn’t claim to serve “Philly” steak sandwiches, so try not to compare the two. Case in point, their steak sandwich was the first that I’ve ever had with lettuce and tomato on it. Grab a bite of nostalgia and don’t pass this place up!
