Phở VAN's Vietnamese Restaurant

This is hands down our family's go-to comfort food spot. The pho is authentic, fresh, and bursting with perfectly balanced flavor—especially the vegetable noodle soup with steamed tofu. The broth feels healing, and the tofu is always cooked to perfection. Their grilled meats and rice dishes are just as incredible—whether it's beef, shrimp, salmon, pork, or chicken, you can't go wrong. Even the wings and spring rolls are packed with flavor and generously portioned.
What truly sets this place apart is the service. The owners treat us like family every time we walk in. It's more than just a meal, it’s an experience of warmth, care, and delicious food that lasts me 2–3 meals. We always leave full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

This was one of the nicest and most delicious restaurant experiences I've had in a while. They had the delicious vegetarian coconut curry that the downtown Van's has that I love, delicious iced coffee with condensed milk and a very pleasant decor with easy parking.

Had dinner here and it was so good! I ordered the duck and my partner had the chicken. Both were fantastic. The service was great and the place really aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely be returning!

I walked in and felt welcome. Instantly the guy behind the counter really went out of his way to make sure I had a good recommendation. I got the salmon over rice and easily the best salmon I’ve had in the last 15 years. It was incredible and I liked it so much that I was angry when I ate the last bite, because I wanted to keep eating.

The food was incredible. Fresh, flavorful with great portion sizes. We had the summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, crispy duck and grilled pork. The service was exceptional. You can tell everything is freshly prepared. This place is such a gem and I’m so happy they are in the Schenectady area.

What a lovely Vietnamese restaurant! My husband and I stopped by for lunch and we weren't disappointed! The flank steak pho was delicious and well prepared. We ordered extra noodles, which they served on a side dish with a set of scissors (which made adding it to our dish much easier!) The table sauce they make was tasty and had a nice kick to it. The service was kind and quick, which I really appreciated. They have easy parking surrounding the building, which was super convenient and the candies on the way out were a fun little treat. We look forward to returning again next time we're in town! :)
