Phở VAN's Vietnamese Restaurant

My husband and I have dined in and also gotten taken out. The food is delicious. We've had PHO and also their dinners with noodles or rice. The dinners have been excellent. The amount of food is plentiful. The server is excellent, he's friendly, efficient (he works very hard) and he is confident with his recommendations, he knows the menu and dishes really well. His recommendations have surpassed our expectations. He's probably the best waiter we've ever had. We don't eat out often, so when we do, we want the experience to be good, and PHO Vans does not disappoint. I highly recommend.

This was the first time here and will definitely be a new staple. We've been to the Albany location before and this one happens to be closer to us with a better parking situation. Food is great. Service was friendly. Definitely recommend.

There was only one server, but he was very efficient and we didn't feel like we were waiting long. He was friendly and professional. The food was excellent. I had the pho and it was exactly what I needed on a cold snowy day. My family had other dishes which they also loved so I suspect you won't be disappointed in the quality of the food.

Food was phenomenal and authentic. More importantly it is freshly cooked, real ingredients and a burst of flavors. Generous portions.
Clean place, family owned. I ordered chicken curry and it was so tasty!
The pho is a must and the sweet bean coconut milk pudding.

I usually eat at the Albany location. Same standard of food here. Good service, but I don't like that I was charged 85¢ for not paying with cash. The Albany location doesn't do that so I don't understand why they do it here. I won't be returning.

When I lived in Schenectady this was the restaurant I'd go out of my way to get. Their beef pho is incredible and comes in a large portion. I'd always get the pork summer rolls which are excellent and are great the next day too. A nice selection of other entrées as well.
Shoutout to Brandon, always kind and friendly when calling in a takeout order. This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Come here on your way through Rotterdam, you don't want to miss it.

This was a very nice dinner! We had the fresh summer rolls with pork. Pho spicy beef and Pho meatballs. Very flavorful tender meat. Our server Brandon was super kind attentive and helpful as it was our first time there. We will be back with friends.

This is hands down our family's go-to comfort food spot. The pho is authentic, fresh, and bursting with perfectly balanced flavor—especially the vegetable noodle soup with steamed tofu. The broth feels healing, and the tofu is always cooked to perfection. Their grilled meats and rice dishes are just as incredible—whether it's beef, shrimp, salmon, pork, or chicken, you can't go wrong. Even the wings and spring rolls are packed with flavor and generously portioned.
What truly sets this place apart is the service. The owners treat us like family every time we walk in. It's more than just a meal, it’s an experience of warmth, care, and delicious food that lasts me 2–3 meals. We always leave full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

This was one of the nicest and most delicious restaurant experiences I've had in a while. They had the delicious vegetarian coconut curry that the downtown Van's has that I love, delicious iced coffee with condensed milk and a very pleasant decor with easy parking.
