Schenectady County Public Health Services needs to investigate this location. I am beyond disgusted with the hygiene practices at this Stewart’s location. This is the second time I’ve seen serious sanitation issues, and it’s completely unacceptable. Today around 8:15 pm the employee making my ice cream put the cones directly on a visibly dirty counter. The surface looked filthy, yet he still planned to serve food off it.
The first incident involved an employee washing her hands and then wiping her mouth with the same napkin she used to dry her hands. Absolutely unsanitary and unprofessional. At this point, I’m genuinely concerned about how this store handles food and basic hygiene. This location urgently needs oversight before someone gets sick.

Had an issue with a propane tank, thought I was gonna have a problem returning it,It was brand new and didn’t work. Christina took very good care of me and made it very easy.I give her 10 stars if I could.

Had a great milkshake experience, came in an hour before close and ordered 2 milkshakes which I don’t typically like to do because I know it can be frustrating for the people behind the counter. Ryan helped me and was super personable, kind and made great milkshakes. Thanks Ryan!

Great service, clean shop, always has fresh and full cold and hot sandwiches available. Store is always well stocked. Manager that took over is doing a great job improving the atmosphere and partners are very happy!

I frequented the shop early this morning. I was told by an employee Shaylena that she would let it go this time but that I could not wear my backpack because the store has had several robberies. I am 53 years old and have never in my life committed a crime. I was very offended. The other Stewart shops in the area that I frequented regularly has never enforced this policy. When I got of work i called to get corporates number and spoke with the manager Maureen who continued to rationalize the fact that criminals are coming in the store and stealing from the coolers with bags on. It's a way you say things without offending people and treating them like criminals she was no better. Her theory was that the general public non-criminals should be penalized for others crimes. She then gave me a phone number that I'm not even sure is corporates so I will frequent another Stewart's to get the number. Stewart's should hire security not penalize the general public for the actions of others.

What an inconvenience to have to walk in and prepay for gas. What happened to pay at the pump? No sign or other instructions at the pump. The customer has no idea what to do. The employee told me I could go up the street to another Stewart’s. Really?
