I felt very disrespected with some racist behavior towards myself and my colleagues. The credit card machine did not work during our transaction, so we had to pay in cash. But somehow it magically started working with customers after us who tried to pay their bills.

Tara Kitchen Schenectady. I don’t write reviews often, but this time I have to because I am passionate about this food. We’ve had dinner here several times but wanted to try lunch buffet. Where do I begin? We came for the lunch buffet and were greeted at the door in a welcomed manner. Long story short the food was fabulous. Healthy options with lots of vegetable dishes. Spinach, white bean with harissa, chicken with eggplant, flavored rice, couscous were my favorites. They also had another chicken dish and lamb with potatoes. Fresh fruit and brownies. Mint tea. This buffet was all for a great deal of 14.99. What an awesome value for delicious Moroccan food. Service was great and very attentive. Probably one of the healthiest and tastiest buffets I’ve ever had. So delicious - a real treat and so flavorful. I don’t think you will be disappointed. A little tight for space in restaurant. Will definitely return.

A nice, casual restaurant. Food was really good, and portions were just right. We had the parsley chermoula (delish), lamb/veg/dates (the right spiciness), and chicken/preserved lemon/green olives (ftw). Service was excellent.

Wow, just wow. I’ve been lucky enough to spend some time in North Africa and the Middle East and to fall in love with the cuisine, and if you want some great Moroccan food, look no further.
The garden has lovely seating options, the wait staff was great, and most importantly the food was fire. A must visit in my book.

The menu is definitely creative, flavorful and I've had every item off the menu. Been going here for 8-9yrs. Just tried their lunch buffet which is also fantastic deal with many options. highly recommended
Food is delicious, portions are decent size, the flavor has a nice amount of spice if you like heat, and they sell the Harissa in a jar! (I’ve made salmon with it at home) Service is very good and suggestions made by owner were taken and appreciated on a few items on the menu

The recent bad reviews are clearly coming from bots. Anyone who has actually been to Tara Kitchen knows how amazing the food is and how pleasant the staff and the atmosphere are. I have only been once and I cannot wait to go back! It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been to that offers vegan dishes.
