Tried for the first time today and wish I didn't wait so long. The best BBQ in the 518!

Customer Service Family business. I order once or twice a year for work group lunch. Yesterday when I picked up my order Brandon was a one-man show prepping my food and another order - after the busy holiday weekend and week he had given his staff the week off but came in to honor my order. I always feel like this place is crazy busy pumping out the homemade BBQ that people are lining up for.

If coming from out of town, think twice. Definitely overrated. Incredibly slow service.

Memphis King is hands-down one of the best barbecue spots around. The food is phenomenal—you can taste the passion and tradition in every bite. From the perfectly smoked meats to the flavorful sides, everything hits the mark. But what really sets them apart is the service. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of your business. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like family. I love supporting local, especially when it’s this good. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and check them out—you won’t regret it!

Let me tell you what! Husband and I drove over and made it just in time. I had seen on their website that they very rarely have a day where they don’t sell out and they weren’t kidding. We showed up around 4:45 and they were getting ready to close but we were warmly welcomed and told to take our time. We also were offered the last bit of brisket to buy too and so glad we didn’t say no! We each ordered a macncheese bowl- one with pulled pork and one with pulled chicken, jalapeños and onions. I didn’t get her name but the very sweet and kind woman who helped us also offered us more sauces too- we were so appreciative of the hospitality we received and not to mention this food was out of this world. A must stop a must try! Can’t wait until we get the opportunity to come again and def going to plan for earlier 😂 THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Best BBQ in town! Brisket, ribs and pulled pork are all fantastic!

Got cornbread, 3 racks of ribs and a few pounds of pulled meat for a party. Everything was amazing and delicious, and the staff is always very helpful and kind.
