I have always been a fairly frequent flyer to this diner, but I have high doubts that I will be back. I brought my young grandson here because he likes chocolate chip pancakes. I drive from out of town to come here. On this particular Sunday morning, it was fairly busy and I understand that. We waited about 15 minutes before the waitress even passed by our table to see what we wanted to drink. I quickly told her water and chocolate milk. Another 10 minutes pass, she finally comes back with the chocolate milk in a cup that was about 3 inches high with a plastic lid on it - it certainly looked like a dessert cup to me rather than an actual drinking cup. And then she proceeded to tell me that she forgot what I wanted so again told her - water. She left, came walking back toward my table less than 2 minutes later, no water in hand AGAIN, only to go to the table next to us and take THEIR order. Mind you, we have been there at least 10 BEFORE that party. So at this point, I thought that once she was finished taking the order from the next table, she would turn to my table and take OUR order. Nope. She not only walks away, but I am STILL waiting for a simple glass of ice water - waiting for about a half an hour now. At that point, I disgustingly threw a few bills on the table for the tiny little chocolate milk, grabbed my grandson and we left. I came back to the town that I live in and we had a very nice breakfast at a local eatery. I cannot begin to tell you how appallingly horrible the customer service was, and I have never seen or experienced a waitress as befuddled and ditzy as the one I had to deal with at Scotia diner on this morning. I'm almost positive I will not be back - not because of the food but because of the incredibly poor customer service. I don't know what that person is doing working in the service field, but they clearly have no idea what they're doing or how to do it and they really should reconsider their life choices

I’ve been here a few times and each time the food was great the service was friendly and quick, but this time we sat in a booth with the sign I have attached. My boyfriend and I were appalled by it. We finished our food, got the check and left. We will not be returning. It’s a shame because we really did love this place, but the blatant misogyny ruined it. Posting to let other women know that this is apparently how this business owner feels about us. I would have liked a heads up before giving them our money.

Heat up a can of cat food instead… Rubbish breakfast. Bait & switch pricing, up charging. Terrible service. Sound track of a cook yelling in the kitchen. SOFT scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage… eggs, scrambled, overcooked, dry, no seasoning. Soft scrambled eggs should look & have the texture of large curd cottage cheese. Sausage clearly bought by the lowest price not quality. Cooked from one side and served barely warm. No onions, peppers or noticeable seasoning in the home fries.

Excellent classic diner experience. Food was exactly as it should be. Home fries were fluffy and not greasy (and NO peppers!). Eggs and hash and bacon all treated with respect. And a bargain to boot, coffee and breakfast for two for $23, we left a double tip for the great food and service.

The atmosphere is great. Such a unique place but the food was horrible. The man that waited on us was very nice until I asked to have my food taken away from the table. I even told him I would pay for it I just didn’t like it. He asked what was wrong with it and I politely told him the food had no seasoning on it and the pita was stale and falling apart. Just wasn’t worth the calories to me 🤷🏻♀️ he got very offended and scolded me with looks. I’m sorry but will not ever return there. FIFA way too overpriced for the quality of it.
Never again the owner didn't give a shit . We didn't get what we ordered . Waitress didn't have a clue . The place was total Kaos what a joke . Owner called patrons a bunch of Karen's . They couldnt even handle coming around with a coffee pot .

I won't go back simply because of the waitresses upselling. Maybe it's her job but I sure didn't like it. All I want is eggs and toast. Which was reasonable.
