Ran into this awesome restaurant by chance and enjoyed the time there. The ambiance, vibe, and people were just awesome just as Caribbean people are known for. The food was delicious and very large portion I couldn't finish 😋😋 It was a lot of rice and food, but not much meat which is the only thing I was disappointed about. Next time I'll have a bigger appetite for more thing like my favorite snapper, oxtail, and wings. What I really wanted was curried chicken but it was finished so I got brown stewed chicken. The cost of meals are very reasonable so you'll get a good portion for your money. Staff are courteous and friendly. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Will be back for sure. Yes, I recommend checking it out.

The food is not tasty. I ordered chicken wings. They looks like they were put under the torch. No seasoning. It sucks. I am sorry second time I buy food from thm and it's awful.

Great night life on Friday + Saturday. The dance floor tends to get packed out, depending on who's DJ'ing. The food is always well prepared and fresh with a variety of meal / snack choices. The staff are knowledgeable about drink choices which is always a pro. The environment remains clean and tidy day to day. Only thing to keep in mind is on busy nights, parking is something that may be an issue.

Order food nothing fancy, chicken fried rice no Carrots 🥕, got it 1st the chicken was really cold , call the guy over explain that the chicken was basically ice cold, he looked at me, puzzled and asked what should he do he proceeded to say should I warm it up lol I said yes.. so he takes the plate and brings it back out, 2nd I want to eat the rice, and what do you know there’s carrots in it. I called them back and explained that I don’t want carrots in it since I don’t eat it, he took the plate back … 3rd time the plate came back. The rice had no carrots, which was great, but they change my chicken to another piece of chicken. That was not the same chicken … so at this point that the box it up, so I could take it with me… no apologies no nothing but I still paid for it.. and to top it off I had no taste so it ended up in the garbage…

tho the Foods(need better Chefs or Redo Recipes) aren't the best 7.5 out of 10 way to much MSG/Salt. but I was Expecting it to be a good not very Disappointed just a bit Concerned it could be a little touch ups not Overloads Seasoning, also Desserts weren't 5 Stars, 4 at best! half of the things aren't even up to West Indian/Caribbean Standards... good Prices, Ok looking Place, Friendly Staff & Cooks but that's all

Someone recommended the house special fried rice so I bought the house special fried rice and it stinks ... Vibez food is so much better, I have no affirmation with either place but never again also they said 15 minutes to get my food but it took 28 minutes to get my food and they are pricey. Maybe their other food is good but I'll never know because I'm never going back, honestly, BJ'S wholesale club frozen fried rice is better. I'm just being honest.

I used to order from here a lot but not anymore. They're thieves. I recently ordered food for delivery and someone from the store called and said they're actually not doing delivery that day so we had to go pick up the food ourselves. I was told that the delivery fee and the tip would be refunded since no delivery was made but the person lied multiple times about refunding the tip and robbed me. I reached out to the ChowNow ordering app on June 28th to better handle the situation, it is now July 9th and the restaurant has completely ignored them. Don't want to do your job but you want to steal the money for it.

EDIT: I did call the restaurant, TWICE, and was told the same thing both times, that the tip refund was sent when it was not. It is not the customer's responsibility to make sure a refund was processed. I contacted ChowNow support on June 28th after I was told I would be receiving my refund and never did. Their response was "Thank you for waiting. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but they were not responsive. Don't worry, I'll send them an email about your refund request. I will personally work on your refund request and ensure to coordinate this issue with our restaurant partner. May I get back to you via email after we get their response?" Contacted them again on July 1st and their response "Thank you. The previous representative manage to send the refund request but as of this moment we are still waiting for the restaurant's response." followed by "Please do allow more time for our restaurant partner to respond. For the meantime, is there anything else I can help you with?" so I waited a week and still NOTHING. Makes no sense how they can say I "didn't reach out to them" when I have the text messages to support right here. I will wait and see if I actually get my refund this time. Thank you and have a nice day.

Would not recommend! Waited for forever for my delivery. Called to check the status and the staff that answered was very rude and said they’re just waiting for the delivery person. Half an hour later I called again she said the food just left the premises! Unbelievable. Save yourself the wait and order somewhere else. Because this place is just not it!

Highly disappointed!! Need to work on both delivery and pick up service. This was the fourth time I ordered food and had to wait a long time to get it. Ordered delivery this time around the driver took 2 hours to deliver. Call the restaurant the lady kept saying the food will be there soon, and she will call me back to let me know what’s going on. She never called lied! Only to find out the food never left the restaurant no driver assigned to deliver the food. Order was placed at 3:50 food got delivered way after 5. The driver said the restaurant never called him and reached out to him mins after 5. What made it worst they gave me the wrong order! Sickening.

Service at the bar was good, prices were a bit steep for drinks, there's nothing there but a bar off to the side and a dancefloor. DJ that night kinda sucked so I guess I can't blame the joint.

I used to order tropics a lot but I stopped for a while because their fried rice is usually hard. Today I’m trying it after a long time to see if they redeem themselves. However id say the hard rice was more flavorful and fresh compared to the one I got today. It tasted stale n fishy. The chicken was fresh n hot but the rice is so disgusting and disappointing. Tropics please investigate your fried rice please ?
