We just used Wagon Train to cater our engagement party. I worked directly with Danielle, and she was beyond helpful on guiding us to how much of everything we should order. I also have food allergies that she was more than willing to find out more info about. We ordered wing, pulled pork, brisket, chicken and corn bread and everyone at our party loved all of it! Personal favorite was the pulled pork!!

We placed a large team order following games in the Albany area. The staff was organized, polite and timely with our order. The portion sizes were perfect and the food was amazing!

This place has the worst food I have ever tried, the place looks like your grandmothers basement filled with nic nacs, and generally overloaded with decoration. The service is probably the best thing here, we got our food within 10 minutes of ordering which makes sense considering the quality of the food. We both ordered a Brisket & Pulled Pork Platter which cost $28 for the smallest portion of meat I've ever seen. The brisket was rubbery and tasteless, The pulled pork was fatty and had no taste. Their barbecue sauce tasted like it was watered down. The only thing that actually was decent was their macaroni and cheese. If you are looking for some good BBQ in the area I recommend Dinosaur BBQ or Rollin' Smoke.

So let's start with the place is a treasure you can spend hours checking out all The neat stuff on the walls ceilings every where you look& the Smell of a very good true BBQ dedicated staff was always on point and all though they were out of Rib eye steak(wife's choice)we ended up with a pound of burnt ends naked I wanted to try both sauces and the rib and brisket platter meats were smoked and seasoned well hush puppies were hot and a great appetizer.Macaroni and Cheese was good and the beans on point.A very good destination Bbq spot.

After seeing Wagon Train BBQ featured on America's Best Restaurants, I knew I had check it out. With that said, as soon as I walked into the restaurant, I knew it would be good. To start, I ordered the brisket nachos and they were excellent. The chips were fresh and the queso was cheesy and tasty. In addition, the brisket was delicious. The brisket was tender, juicy, with just the right amount of fat. These were simply great nachos. Next, I ordered the Midnight Rider Burger with fries. The burger was topped with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and macaroni and cheese. Knowing that, the burger was very good. To explain, the burger was juicy and the beef had great flavor. Furthermore, the pulled pork was solid and went well with the burger. Also, the macaroni and cheese was enjoyable. It was really cheesy and creamy. However, the bun was really soggy from the toppings. Likewise, I think they forgot the BBQ sauce which made my burger a bit dry. Still, the burger was scrumptious. Additionally, the fries were fine. They were hot and crispy, but the flavor was nothing amazing. They got the job done, but could have been better. To finalize, Wagon Train BBQ is a top tier barbecue restaurant.

We ordered catering for about 75 people for an event. Food was delivered and set up on time without a snag, and everything was absolutely delicious -- all for about $1,000, which you couldn't beat. My only wish is they offered some of the catering options on their regular menu, like the eggplant parm!

My wife and I went here for late lunch. we got the hush puppies, chicken tenders, and I had the Wyatt hamburger. all I gotta say. don't wait and get to that place. everything was phenomenal and homemade ranch dipping sauce with dill weed in it. oh my lord.

Food came out so quick!!! Service was great. Ribs were good, we both liked the Carolina sauce the best on the ribs. Meat was falling off the bone, cooked wonderfully. Cornbread was served cold like it was taken right out of the fridge, I prefer it warm but that must be their style. And you leave smelling like a bonfire.

I stopped by wagon train bbq on the way up to a trip in the Adirondacks and was pleasantly surprised by there bbq. I ordered a half a pound of brisket with Mac and cheese and collared greens. The brisket and Mac was great, I wasn't the biggest fan of the collared greens as they were a little to watery. The service was okay seeing as we went an hour before closing it seemed they may of been a little short staffed but all in all a good place to stop!
