Quality of the sushi has really gone down hill in the last few years. Used to order about 10 times a year. Haven’t been happy with my last few orders. Gave it a final chance tonight. Quality feels more akin to a suburban mediocre all you can eat sushi place now…thin pieces of topping sushi, not fresh, mediocre veggies, no thought to the topping sauces…when they used to serve large chunks of fresh fish any night of the week, with excellent sauces and perfectly proportioned and thoughtfully prepared ingredients. Bar atmosphere still decent. Won’t be back for the food.

When you arrive for a dinner reservation and there's only one Asian person working, it should be a warning. When we were seated and asked for clarification on a menu item, the waitress responded "I have to ask, I don't even know what the food looks like ". As it was a special occasion and the rest of our party were having sushi, we ordered what seemed to be safe choices. My appetizers were good and large enough to share. My husband ordered Pineapple Shrimp-bland and tasteless with no pi neapple to be found. My duck was awful, extremely fatty and devoid of the "crispy " description. Will never go back.

Kid-friendliness: No children's menu.

Contemporary feel. I had an assembly man, my wife had the lobster. Drinks more than reasonable and potent. Kani salad that is spectacular and pineapple rice that was short on serving size and pineapple l for its price. Otherwise fantastic.

Vegetarian options: Several options available

Parking: Street

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. I'd leave them home.

i had high hopes for this restaurant based on the appearance. however right off the bat my party and inexperienced issues. firstly, someone in our party called ahead at 330 to place a reservation for 6pm. the reservation was written down incompletely and incorrectly because they didn't hear my party members name correctly and didn't ask them to clarify or spell it, which led to our reservation being written down under a completely different name, and they also did not write down the phone number. once we were finally seated, it took well over 10 minutes to even receive water or service. The restaurant was only moderately busy, yet severely understaffed, with seemingly only one actual waitress and multiple other employees doing so many things at once I couldn't even identify their positions. When we finally placed our drink and food orders, the food came out before the drinks as they were just sitting at the bar not being a delivered and we had to physically go to the bar and ask for our drinks to be brought to us. The food was overall mediocre. Incorrectly made pad thai sauce with a completely wrong flavor profile, dry chicken, and duck that was not properly cleaned/plucked. The two sushi entrees, which accounted for 2 out of the 5 dishes we ordered, were well done and overall the drinks were good. Although I rated the atmosphere 4 stars, it did nothing to raise this review over 2 stars because the clear disorganization, inexplicably long wait, and disappointing food was too much to ignore. We arrived all the restaurant plenty ahead of time as we were attending a show at Proctor's across the street, however because of the long wait and slow service we had to skip ordering appetizers for fear that it would just extend out wait time even longer, causing us to be late to our show. Would not recommend.

We called for a reservation and the person who took it just didn't write it down because they couldn't hear the name for the table

When we arrived It took 40 minutes for us to get our order taken, and get water. we had to ask the bartender and other waitresses to take our order.

The wait staff looked very disorganized as the hostess was seating tables, making drinks and moving tables from the kitchen into the dining room

We were attending a show at Proctors so had to skip appetizers and only order entree's and drinks

Our entrees came before our drinks, we had to ask the bartender to bring our drink order to our table.

The pad Thai didn't taste like peanut sauce, it only had crumbled peanuts on top, the crispy zen duck wasn't plucked correctly and the chicken teriyaki was dry. Our sushi order came after the kitchen entree's and were actually pretty good.

They wouldn't let us split our check into two ways for a table of five

It was beautiful inside though.

What a pretty space and the food was decent, my only problem was upon our arrival they let us that the kitchen would be closing in an hour but that the bar would remain open for another hour. Which was fine, we ate. As soon as we finished they cleaned and removed everything from our table while simultaneously harassing us for check. As soon as we paid. We were ask to leave because the “kitchen was closed for some time now” wording is everything she could’ve asked us to move to the bar that was clearly still open then rudely ask us to vacate a table. In a town like this where every other restaurant and store is closed and not making money you think they wouldn’t kick out people trying to spend money. Good luck to this restaurant will never be coming back

The restaurant was run down, table scratched and wicked horribly. The hibachi was the least tasteful food and the lettuce wraps were dry with dripping wet. The food had no taste except salt. Cannot recommend this place. The waitress also didn't come except when we asked for a check. Bad date experience.

The cocktail was the best part of the meal. Staff were kind but seemed to lack focus/direction. Maybe understaffed on the night I was there?

This place used to be good but now it’s ghetto. Waited almost an house to be serviced drinks but they quick to tell customers about the 20% mandatory gratuity and that they’re nothing to do. Andy Zheng needs to get his stuff together. I been coming here for years and this is not the first time this place runs and treats customers like garbage when the owner isn’t here. Never coming back here again and will not recommend this place to anyone after the service I got today for my sisters birthday party.
