The El Taco Shack was a really delicious Mexican restaurant. The food was very comparable to Moe’s. The size of the burritos were humongous. To be honest it was actually to big. The kids enjoyed their tacos and my wife loved the nachos. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

The food is just ok. Cheese out of a package, no zip in the salsa. I got the fish tacos, like fish sticks, no flavor. My hubby got the veggie quesadilla, same just ok. For the price we could have gone to a better Mexican restaurant with plates of flavor.

The food is generally really good and very filling which makes the high price more reasonable than one might think. One of the concerns I have when I go to this place is sometimes the staff is hit or miss with some staff members being caring and helpful, while other times staff do not care enough to drain the chicken well and it really reduces the quality of the food. My only other complaint is the music which is sometimes very unsettling to hear as you are waiting and ordering. Overall it is pretty good and I do go there once in a while but there are a couple of things holding it back from being a really good place to get food.

Tried this taco spot because the gyro shop was closed unexpectedly. Food was edible but not good, looked like it was sitting out uncovered all day and the meat just looked nasty. Staff was rude and food was overpriced. I won't be going back. Can't believe this place is so highly rated.

This is such a hidden gem. We planned on going somewhere else until we saw this place. The guy that made our food was awesome and friendly. Everything tasted amazing and serving sizes were huge. The guacamole was so good! Also was very decently priced also.
Kid-friendliness: My son is picky and just wanted lettuce, tomato, cheese and ranch on his tacos with a side of rice. He said they were the best tacos ever and even put guacamole on his tacos.
Zero stars if possible. Why is is so hard in this area to get any good food? “Tacos” are served cold , which is strange. No flavor , no spices. Maybe import a brown person to make simple Mexican fare. Just horrible.

El Taco Shack is pretty okay. The kids love it which is why we go. I used to love it and would go frequently but but something changed and now i think we are just friends that meet up every two or three months to catch up for ol' time's sake. The food is still good but not great like it was and the struggle to justify the price is real. With all that said I still like it.

I was very surprised that they had beyond beef as an option! Only location with decent options for a while on I-88. So this was a nice treat
