I love The Basin Grill. The food is so good. However, my last experience there was absolutely awful. Saturday July 19 it’s my birthday and my husband made a reservation Friday for Saturday for 5 pm for 6 people. We show up and are told there’s no room outside and we’d have to wait. My husband said “even with a reservation” with an attitude the young hostess said “ yeah we don’t have room” A guy managed to put a couple tables together for us, said that’s for us...
Nice place right on the Hudson River. Inside and outside bars and dining!! The burger was a good size and tasty with thin cit, crispy fries. Reasonable drink prices ($5 for an Ultra). Madison is an excellent server!!
I live far from the area and visit seldomly and have dined in at this location several times. Todays visit was busy and certainly showed some frustrations that are to be expected on any late Saturday dinner such as delays to be seated and helped for drinks and orders. However I was seated in a section which looked to be in a completely different area then the waitress covering usually it’s in areas or groups for convenience (I’m not sure if that’s the case) however the food...
