Excellent menu & chef. Great decor on a 200+ yr old wood house / B&B, near the side of the Hudson River.

This was our second visit to this wonderful restaurant. We loved our dinner and will return! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the decor is charming. The salads were excellent, the split pea soup was fantastic. We both had the pork, which was accompanied by delicious broccoli and potatoes. And … the wine served by the glass was delicious and a generous pour. This restaurant “punches above its weight!”

I was driving through Schylerville, and I decided to try out the "Kitchen." I was a first-time customer. The experience and food were perfect! Service was excellent! The food was exceptional. Everything exceeded my expectations. I started with a cup of ham and corn chowder, and then, for my main meal, I had the pork loin dinner. It was wonderful. Prices are very reasonable. I hope to become a regular.

So cozy! Wasn’t expecting it but really impressed with the fall menu. Loved the ambiance, staff and everything was delicious!

Love the food, however went in 40 minutes before closing to get takeout and was told, with aggression, that it wasn't going to happen. The woman was not nice at all. I work in a restaurant, have for 15 years. Love the food but if that's what I go to, no thank you

review for dinner 11/11/21. They are currently doing a reasonable prix fixe menu of $23.30. We had the pumpkin bisque, a heavenly light tasty soup confection with the perfect hints of cinnamon and nutmeg and the house salad, with an mixture of layered greens. The Steak Diane had a delicious mushroom, mustard, brandy sauce. The perfectly grilled pork chop had a rum raisin sauce that is reminiscent of a curry apple chutney but without the cayenne pepper hotnesss; a perfect choice for the chilly autumn evenings. The potatoes were the only down side to this meal - they were like a thick slice of whole boiled potato. The service was the just right amount of caring without being overbearing. The accompanying generous pour of wine by the glass choices were a reasonable $6.50. Overall, a perfect weekday choice of a cozy dinner out.

The dinner special was very good and the apple dumplings were delicious. Amanda is very attentive to all at the tables. Cozy atmosphere.

Dynamic flavors from the bisque to the crab cakes. Great taste as takeout! Perfect amount for the 3 course menu too.

Such delicious food! Everything I have ever ordered from here was absolutely delicious. What’s amazing, though, is the prices! Totally reasonable prices for the quality you get, and the amount of food is always perfect. We have made it a tradition to order take out on Sundays because they have unreal specials for $9.95. You will not be disappointed when you eat here.

Food and service was great. Nice atmosphere.i dont consider it really handicapped friendly.ramp takes you thru kitchen very tight quarters with walker dont feel wheelchair would work.staff was very helpful.al.ost feel a side ramp out front would be more accessible.if I go again I will do stairs rather than ramp. Much closer

Very good food for the money. It has an upscale atmosphere and upscale food, but the price is only fast casual. Service is excellent and it's an unrushed experience.
