My husband and I went for the fish and we were not disappointed. The fish was tender and cooked to perfection the coating was delicious. The homemade fries and cabbage salad were great. The portions were just right my husband had the two pieces of fish and i had one piece. We will definitely go again. The atmosphere was relaxing and staff were exceptional .

Stopped in after visiting Saratoga Natl. Cemetery. I am Brunswick NY born and raised and moved to FL 5 years ago. I live near Tampa and have access to some of the best restaurants in the country. I got the portobello mushroom burger, and when I tell you it's the best one I've ever had, that's no tall tale. Everyone loved their dishes, and there were 6 of us. This place is a hidden gem and I look forward to visiting again on my next trip back. Try it, you won't be dissapointed! It's kind of hidden away, but just follow the signs...don't drive into the water though...that would be bad.

Parking: This place is hidden. When driving in it's to the left. Need bigger and more attractive signing.

This place was fantastic. The meal was great and the dessert was out of this world. Can’t wait to go back!

Very cool "bayou" vibe on the river. The food is all homemade and the beer is cold. Cool local spot for boaters as well.

The food here is always fresh and delicious and the bartender is friendly and attentative. Their wings are one of my favorite things on the menu so I definitely recommend giving them a try.

The Alley is my new go-to spot for really good, fresh, homemade pub fare. It's not fancy, but neither am I. My first burger there, I was hooked. Huge portion that I couldn't finish. The fries are one of my favorites items, too. Always hot and crispy. Wings are smoked and the sauces are house made. The daily specials are always worth checking out as everything is cooked to order. We also learned that nothing is ever frozen. I don't think they even have a microwave! My favorite dessert is the fluffer nutter: a grilled flour tortilla with peanut butter and marshmallow. Service is always friendly and sometimes it feels like you're hanging out in someone's living room. Definitely check out The Alley.

Are you looking for an off the beaten path pub with good comfort grub? You might want to try The Alley Bar and Grill. It will help if you have GPS guidance. This is probably a more popular place during warmer months when a patio is open and boat docking is available along the Hudson River. There was only one table of four being served when we arrived at 6 p.m. on a Sunday. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the place is noticeably clean. There was a special on Wings, order 6 and get a dozen for the same price ($13.95). We chose the Whisky BBQ sauce to go with our Fiddlehead IPAs ($6/pint). The wings were meaty and tasty buy not real crispy. My wife didn't notice any whisky flavor, but I thought I did. We also tried the Fish Bites ($8.95) - pieces of haddock breaded and deep fried. They were a nice change from chicken fingers. While my wife ordered their Hawaiian Chicken Wrap Special ($10.95) - with pineapple BBQ sauce, provolone, and a side of cabbage salad, I had their French Dip ($12.95) - with onions, sauteed mushrooms, provolone, au jus, and a side of potato salad. Both dishes were very tasty and plentiful. We each ended up taking half of our meal home for next day's lunch. The food here comes across as home style and is a good value. I'd like to get back once the patio is open and try the hush puppies, a burger, and some of the desserts.

Will not be back. The food was almost inedible. Wings were supposed to be grilled but were clearly fried and thier homemade ranch and Melba were just bad. The drinks were way overpriced...2 vodka sodas were $27! Ridiculous. The only bright spot was the waitress was great!

No good. The burger was served with the paper left on the cheese inside the burger. Really hard to eat when there is garbage in the meal. The open faced corned beef was served on only 1 slice of bread and the corned beef was sliced and evidently microwaved as it's texture was shoe leather. The waitress was perfect. All they need is a good cook.
