Ate here with my crew and cast during lunch for a short film. Foster Restaurant has the kindest owner and staff and they accommodated our group with our dietary restrictions. Excellent food and amazing atmosphere!

Sorry. But really disappointed. Food was ok but extremely overpriced. I had to order a burger because it was the only “dish” below 30$. My friend went with the fried chicken for the same reason al thought it was over 30$ his choice. The burger was tiny. Good ingredients I guess but tiny! With chips on the side. Yup. Bag chips. Then I ordered a side of roasted mushrooms. Over salty and minimal too. The fired chicken was a kfc style and the sides were also microscopic. Of course they don’t offer tap water so they charged us for the water they brought from the dispenser. Incredible. We left hungry and we spent 100$ without drinks. Well, water. We drank water.Very pricey and pretentious. A pitty a nice place like sea Cliff is being abused like this

The food was good, it wasn’t the most amazing food I have ever had but I did not understand why they are charging admin fees and $1 filtered water per person

Had the coronar, mortadello pizza, and Brussel sprouts. Each dish that came out was awesome. Highly recommend it for the food, people, and atmosphere.

We recently moved to Sea Cliff from NYC and were so pleasantly surprised to have such a beautiful delicious restaurant down the block from our house. Loretta was our server and was so welcoming. The cocktails were phenomenal and the flavors of every dish were absolutely fabulous.

I went with my mom to Fosters for the first time tonight and we had the best evening together. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious and our waiter Richard was so kind, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. We got to speak briefly with the Chef who was so warm and friendly! The entire experience was handled with care. Thank you for such a wonderful evening♥️?️

Honestly, it was good but they need to step it up I’d honestly say 3.5 with reservations. With a shiny “2024 best high end restaurant” plaque greeting you, half of the tables had children/babies with accompanying screaming and throwing things and iPads on Friday during prime dinner time at 7pm. It was not a good vibe. At all.We moved to the heated but frankly lukewarm ‘patio’ to escape Chucky Cheese vibes but the experience definitely felt disconnected from there, even if the food was good.Foster management—Don’t let your restaurant be a playground for rich people and their screaming children. Your food is good and priced accordingly but the delivery falls flat. You can’t charge $10 for bread and $1/pp for water (I dgaf how it’s filtered) plus a laughable 10 stalk $10 broccoli rabe side, and have screaming kids. Period. That bread was fine. It was not $10 + velociraptor-child-screaming-worthwhile.Pork chop was really good and the butter lettuce salad with watermelon radish was a delight. Good wine list, good cocktails. There are many, many places for with family, friends and kids, but you can’t charge those prices and have it both ways. It’s simply not fair. Tell people to get a babysitter for kids under 5 to enjoy your overpriced bread and otherwise delightfully good food. So close to good.
