Matt's Deli and Catering

Matt and his team are really great. Not sure how to explain it but you will leave the deli with a smile on your face. It’s really nice to have the feel of a locally-owned deli in town. But, the food is excellent and the coffee is strong. I’ve had their breakfast sandwiches, home fries, and Ruben so far. All of which have hit the spot. Matt’s is awesome and hope they stick around for a long time!

I love it here. Matt and his crew are the best! I always look forward to going in and chopping it up with them, plus it’s a historical land mark in the beautiful town of Sea Cliff. Come by, meet the guys grab a hero and go hang out at vets park or one of the many other great places to relax in the beautiful town. Great people, great vibes! Breakfast and bagels are 👌

The experience of getting an egg sandwich and coffee, and eating breakfast on the village green is hard to beat.
I hadn't been in that building in over 20 years, and I'm glad that Sea Cliff once again has a good deli!

Matt’s Deli is everything a neighborhood deli should be.

The food is amazing in that deceptively simple way that only comes from people who actually care. The sandwiches are stacked just right, not sloppy, not skimpy, perfectly balanced like someone behind the counter actually thought about how it eats.

Food like this should be easy to come by, but somehow these days it’s not. Thats what makes this deli special. They get the basics right, consistently.

What really seals it, though, is the atmosphere. Warm, friendly, genuinely local. The kind of place where you feel welcome whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth. You can tell they know their regulars, and you can tell they’re happy to make you one too.

This isn’t just a good deli. It’s a reminder of why delis mattered in the first place. Great food, good people, no nonsense. If you’re lucky enough to have this spot nearby, don’t take it for granted. Places like this are the backbone of our neighborhood, and they deserve every ounce of praise, and support.
