Ordered the lamb dish and it came with 3 small pieces of lamb. The portions are a joke and over priced. They don’t even have naan for an Indian restaurant??

Every dish is worth trying!

The restaurant is a delightful fusion of Indian food. Their Indian-inspired pizzas are a standout. The chefs have brought a flavorful finesse to every dish and the service is impeccable. A must-visit for anyone seeking a fresh take on Indian flavors.

-Took 20 minutes for the server to take out order
-They didn’t have half of the menu available
-Food was not “Indian”
-No air condition making it unbearably hot
-Bugs EVERYWHERE

I'm all for Indian fusion and creative Indian dishes, however, this place is not that. It's unfortunately just bad and unoriginal sort-of Indian food.

Paneer, roti, and paratha are not homemade, so this restaurant claiming to be fresh - please visit Patel Brothers frozen section. Specifically look for the “Deep” brand parathas in the red packets. You can tell by the triangular shape and the unevenly cooked parts of the paratha.

Can't change spice level? That means the food isn't made to order. Definitely made ahead of time and brought out room temperature so food definitely pre-prepared in bulk.

For an appetizer we were recommended Burrata chaat. The burrata was not creamy on the inside and nothing special, but at least there was some flavor.

We ordered the Salmon korma, it was fried salmon served on top of cashew paste. No depth in flavor in the fish or accompanying sauce.

Saag paneer was terrible. Huge chunks of hard paneer. Good paneer is a soft cheese that melts in your mouth. The saag was so salty.

Ordered a blood orange mojito mocktail, which tasted like juice. I'm confused, mojitos have club soda and fizz, this felt like someone just poured juice with ice.

I'm fine with inauthentic Indian restaurants, but honestly, this place is not good. The Trader Joe's frozen meals taste better.

Please do not charge $8 for a paratha that is bought from the frozen section.

Server tried his best, took some of the items off our bill, but I really had to hold back my feedback.

Table was cleared and waited almost 20 minutes despite asking for the check a few times. Ultimately had to go inside to find someone to settle the bill.

Sorry chef, chicken tikka pizza has been done and way better than here. Saag pizza? Thanks for putting my entree on naan. Seekh kabab calzone? That’s basically a kabab roll or a “crazy kabab roll” spin-off upcharged just cause it’s called something different.

If you are giving this place 5 stars, please visit any other Indian fusion or Indian restaurant in NYC or Hicksville. Many of them can be terrible, but it's still better than here.

Amazing experience! Heard about this place from a lady I struck up a conversation with at a coffee shop. Decided to take my family there to celebrate my dad’s promotion. Kyle did an incredible job of setting the reservation up, even pronouncing my very Indian name properly without instruction. He was very eager to assist and I could hear the passion and sincere hospitality in his voice. When we got there, Kyle was our waiter, but he graciously let us move to a different table (which meant another server would receive the tip), for the sake of my mother’s comfort. The new waiter Carmine was warm as well and did a great job pronouncing the names of the dishes and helping us decide. The food was all stellar. Highlights include the tamarind margarita, burrata chat, dosa waffle, chicken tikka masala pizza (respectably spicy), saag paneer (the rice and roti it came with was so homey and comforting), and the berry dessert. Kyle returned as our waiter (Carmine’s shift had ended so they worked out the swap), and did a wonderful job as before, even helping me arrange a little surprise (berry) dessert with a candle to congratulate my dad. All in all it was a wonderful evening for my family. The music was even good, playing classic Beatles songs throughout the night.

Menu is perfectly small, they do it all well, and the drinks are well matched for the flavors you get out of the food. And the space is cozy and classy without feeling too stuck up.

Def come here and I hope you get Kyle as your server. The dude is all effort, heart and kindness. Excited to go back and try more!

A Hidden Gem in Long Island /Sea Cliff– Onion Tree is a Must-Visit!

I’m currently on vacation in New York from India, and one evening, a craving for Indian food hit me—but not the typical fare. I was looking for something with an Indian soul but a twist. That’s when I discovered the Onion Tree in Long Island 's Seacliff area (they also have an outlet in Manhattan), and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

The restaurant has a warm, cozy vibe with perfect ambient lighting, making it feel inviting the moment you walk in. I went in expecting decent Indian flavors, but this place far exceeded my expectations.

They're known for their Neapolitan pizzas with an Indian twist, and we tried the Margherita pizza with curry leaves and the freshest tomato sauce I’ve ever had. The burst of flavors from the smoked chili elevated the dish to something truly special.

We also had the Eggplant Curry (a Baingan Aloo variation), served with soft, thin chapatis and a portion of rice. The chutneys were surprisingly bold—better than what you get at many high-end Indian spots.

Though we were full, we couldn’t resist trying the Dal Bukhara meal—and I’m so glad we did. It had the perfect blend of spices, creaminess, and texture that left us completely satisfied.

For dessert, we shared the Kulfi and Saffron Panna Cotta—both were mouthwatering and delicately balanced in flavor. Honestly, I’m running out of adjectives for this place!

What stood out even more was the diversity of the crowd. This isn’t just a spot for Indians—locals were absolutely loving it and rightfully so.

Highly, highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in New York and want to experience creative Indian fusion done right.
Forgot to mention the Drinks-
Tamarind tequila. Spicy vodka. Not a huge list, but each one packs a punch.
